I went to Arbor Palms of Anaheim. The tour was informative and helpful. The staff was super nice. When I walked in, they greeted me and offered me water. The lady had me go into her office first to talk about my in-laws and what their needs are and then all these upper staff came in and introduced themselves. She asked me multiple times if I had questions. It was just kind of an informal, like getting to know you, type of meeting. Then she showed me the facility and every time we ran into a staff member, she stopped and introduced me to them. Everyone was nice. First, she showed me the memory care, the dining areas, and then the common areas. There's an outside area for memory care, like a patio that she showed me. She showed me activity calendars and there were residents doing activities and she let me take pictures. They were doing activities with word games. Then we went up to the assisted living floor and she showed me all the common areas for assisted living, like the movie theater, the library, and the hallways. The first floor was memory care. The second floor was assisted living. The staff showed me the hair salon on the third floor and the staged rooms with just furniture in them. She showed me a small private room, a bigger private room, and another bigger private room. The first room she showed me had one twin bed, the second room had two twin beds, and then the large private room had a queen bed in there and a desk and they had it set up for a couple because I'm looking for two. She showed me different ways you can set up the furniture. They all had nice bathrooms with bars for the shower. They had what used to be tubs, but they cut out the side of them so that they can walk in like a shower and they had grab bars by all the toilets and these little string things that you pull if you need help on the toilet. There was a garden area that assisted living could access. Part of the first floor had assisted living, too. After the tour, we went back to the staff's office, and she had folders for assisted living and memory care, and they had all the information about the pricing and the floor plans. As I was walking out, I saw residents eating, so I went in to see if their food looked good. I'm like, "How's the food?" Some of them looked at me weirdly and some of them were like, "Oh yeah, it's really good." They had a really good menu. Ahead of time, you could order hamburgers, hot dogs, salads, or alternate menus if you didn't like what was on the menu. The staff was very professional and nice. It's an older building, so they're doing the best with what they have.

We were very impressed with the personnel and the rooms at Arbor Palms of Anaheim. They have a priest that comes every Wednesday for mass and communion. Their dining room was very nice and they had a lot of activities. We met the activity director and they had a library for reading, or you could watch movies. It's just older, but it was very clean and the monthly cost was very good.

We had a very informative tour at Arbor Palms of Anaheim. The lady in charge was very informative and very nice. It was about a 20-minute tour and the place was awesome. I would live there myself. We also toured the cafeteria and it had a very nice setting, and it's very appealing. They had a small library and a little theater where they had a large screen television and comfortable seating set up for them to sit and watch.

The people at Arbor Palms of Anaheim are very caring. They know everyone and they make my mom feel at home. They play bingo and cornhole with the the residents. They have different-sized rooms, so you can get what you need. Mom is in a one-bedroom apartment with her own bathroom and it's very clean and very welcoming. They're kind of pricey, but she needs more help and more, so that's how it is.

Arbor Palms of Anaheim seemed a little bit older, but the staff just seemed wonderful. They know everybody's name. The studios were nice and spacious. You bring in your own furniture and they have somebody who would hang any pictures in the room if you'd want. I liked it and it would be a place that my uncle would like to stay. It was very clean as well as the facility itself. They were going to have an actual luau where they had a lot of finger food out already and a table set for it. It was very cute.

My mom has been in Arbor Palms of Anaheim's assisted living for a month now. The staff is very nice. They're very attentive to mom when she needs something. The room is very clean. I like that the maid comes in once a week to help clean up with mom. She has already met friends. I'm just glad that she's with people her age that she can talk and socialize with. Their food is good, and she has no complaints about the food. She's on a special diet for her diabetes, so she's doing well. It's a very nice place. She's comfortable, and they provide everything she needs. They have a calendar that has all the daily activities scheduled. She gets a calendar once a month to see what she can do. They have bingo and exercises. They get to go on to the store once a week (little stores like Walmart or Dollar Store, things like that). On a different floor, they have a hair salon. She can go if she wants to do anything with her hair, nails, or anything like that. She is pleased about all that. They even have a good pharmacy system that takes care of all of her medication. They have games and movie nights. They do all sorts of activities, just different ones every day to keep them motivated. She's doing well, and she's happy. I had lunch with her the first week she was there, and the food was good. The facility is also very good, clean, organized, and just very nice.

We toured Arbor Palms of Anaheim and the location is very convenient for us. The community seems to be very nice and very updated. What I liked about it was they had four sizes of living areas. They had a petite suite and then they had a larger suite. We ended up getting my mother-in-law the larger suite so there'd be more space for her. They had a variety of suites that weren't just rooms, which I liked, and she didn't have to share with anybody. The cost was low, too. The dining area was nice. The staff is friendly, too. They had lots of community areas, one for crafting, one for puzzles, and then they have a library. I was not able to observe the activities, though, because they were on a COVID quarantine. We'll probably move her stuff in a week so they can have it all set up for her when she gets out of rehabilitation. This place allows her insurance's physical therapy to come in and do physical therapy rather than paying for their extra level of care.

I had an in-person tour of Arbor Palms of Anaheim. It was very clean. I was very happy with it. The staff seems excellent. The residents that I saw there all seemed to be doing well in their room. It seemed like they were pretty quick with responses. They're going through a renovation, so I got to see what it used to look like and then the new improvement. The rooms were a bit on the dark side, and that might be the only concern that I may have. But other than that, the bathrooms were very nice, big, very generous or satisfactory designed for the elderly. So we were quite happy with that.

My father will be moving into Arbor Palms of Anaheim. They're great. They're all very clean and very spacious. The staff is really nice; everybody is very helpful. They have a huge menu; every week is different. They have five different choices every week; I'm sure they will use it in a couple of different weeks, but it seems like a really good deal. Everybody keeps down in the cafeteria, so you can talk to each other. The main thing that I like about it is it's close to where I live, so I can visit him more often, but I do like the environment inside the place; everybody seems nice.

Arbor Palms of Anaheim was a better facility and more what my uncle was looking for. It was assisted living. It was a little bit higher for rent, although everything was included. It was a close second. It was closer to family. They would take you places within 10 miles. It was nice that they also offered a day out where you could go to Wal-Mart or Target. They would pick you up, and they'd drop you off. The thing that my uncle liked was that his mail would be delivered in a personal mailbox. The staff was very friendly. She was saying that they were redoing a couple of rooms because they needed to change the carpeting, and they needed to do this and that. They had a beautician or salon. They had a theater room which was smaller. They had meals provided and snacks in vending machines. It was fine, but it wasn't what we wanted. It was a little bit more expensive. They showed us rooms at the same price. One was a bit smaller, and they showed another room that was larger. It had two big closets. They were both the same price, and I didn't understand that. We are talking about square footage. I just didn't understand why a bigger room was the same price as a smaller room.

We toured the Arbor Palms of Anaheim. We both felt very welcome; the location itself was very welcoming. Jeffrey, whom I believe was the one who gave us the tour, was very open to our questions, answered them very well, and gave us a tour of what the facility looked like. He showed us the outdoor area, the dining area, and the various activities. He was very willing to work with us on our budget, which we appreciated as well. They have a library, bingo, a movie lounge, and a piano. So it seems like they have a wide variety of activities.

My husband wasn't crazy about Arbor Palms of Anaheim. It looked like it needed new carpeting, and there were marks on the wall. They need to retouch the paint. What I liked about our tour was the gentleman we met with; his name was Jeffrey, and he had told me before we even got there, "I just want to let you know the property is older and they usually re-carpet and re-paint it every five years, and it seems like we're approaching that five year time." I thought that it was just nice that he said that before we got there. At normal times they have activities, but right now, they are limited. They used to have a hairstylist who would come on site, and there are little shopping areas outside that assisted living people used to walk to, but they're discouraging it now because of the risk of getting the virus.

I visited the assisted care and the memory unit of Arbor Palms of Anaheim. The staff was very friendly, very personable, and very helpful. We didn't have a chance to taste their food, since the kitchen was closed right at the moment because of COVID, but it was fine. The place was very clean. It was good.

We went to both assisted living and memory care units at Arbor Palms of Anaheim. It's in major need of remodel or upgrade. The staff was very friendly, but several of the attendants told me that they had a lot of problems there. It's nice that there's a hospital across the street, but the neighborhood has a lot of homeless people. The dining area was small. The layout was very simple and organized, but they did not have a lot of rooms. I was really surprised how small the place was.

Arbor Palms of Anaheim was nice, but the manager was not welcoming. We felt discriminated againts when we talked to her. She won't give us a tour because she said she didn't want to waste our time. We insisted that we still wanted to see the place regardless if we can afford it or not, and she's like, "Well, the room itself is $2400 already and that's not including the add-ons." She gave us a tour but we felt that she was not happy about it.

Meridian Gardens of Anaheim is clean and has three floors. They have a dementia unit on the first floor. The second floor is for people who can get around but that need help. The third level is for people who are mobile. They can drive and they can stay there with their wives or their husbands, or be by themselves. It's nice to have that option. When they have their dinners, everybody comes down and meets everybody else. The dining area is a large cafeteria and well kept. I love their food. The director and the director of the community socials are very helpful. They are willing to work with me on my brother's case, so that's good. They also have activities for the people that live there. They go to art centers and they go to to different places. I like that. They have a library, a garden, and a room where they watch movies. However, I wish they had a bigger and wider garden area. Their garden is cooped up between the buildings. It's only wide on the outside.

Everything at Meridian Gardens of Anaheim was wonderful. It was a nice and clean environment. The elderly residents are treated so well. They had a lot of different events and places outside that were convenient, to make everyone happy and comfortable. The facility, the food, and the kitchen were very nice. The staff treated me real nice and gave me adequate attention. They also offer field trips there.

Meridian Gardens of Anaheim would have been a good place for my sister. They were really nice, but they never got back to me after the evaluation. The room was clean and OK with its own bathroom. The location was on a busy street, and the parking was terrible.

The rooms at Meridian Gardens were OK but small, and that's one thing we didn't want. They had a library and areas where people could go and play games. Everything was nice. The lady who toured us was very kind and knowledgeable. It was all good.
