Sunrise-La Palma is a very clean senior living complex. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. We enjoyed our tour and noticed how postive the staff interacts with their residents. I would especially like to thank Nicole who answered numerous questions we had and kept in touch with us, too.

Sunrise of La Palma was a beautiful facility. It's welcoming and spotless. The personnel were very nice. The place was lovely. It was just kind of an a la carte. You pay so much for your room, but if you get this, you pay more, or if you do this, you have to pay more. We wanted something that's all inclusive, but as far as the facility and the personnel, I would think it would be a wonderful place to live. In fact, I even told them that I could live there. Their rooms were a good size. If a person moved in, he'd be able to bring their own coffeemaker and a microwave. They were roomy and cheerful. I liked the security of it, too. You couldn't just walk in and out. You had to be let in and out.

I've moved my mom to Sunrise of La Palma's assisted living. It's clean, the nurses are attentive, and the staff is helpful for the most part. There are a lot of activities like a knitting club and puzzle club.

The rooms at Sunrise of La Palma were smaller and the whole community seemed smaller than the other one we visited. They've got nice people, but it just didn't feel right. The salesperson was nice and friendly. It was too expensive, and it was a la carte. The base price was high, and then you have to add more things, so it becomes cost prohibitive. It was a nice facility, but it wasn't as updated.

Sunrise of La Palma was a beautiful facility. It had a good atmosphere, and it was a place I would love to visit. The staff member during the visit was great and informative. The dining area was very nice and felt like a nice restaurant. There was someone playing the piano when I was there, and they had arts and crafts. They make you breakfast if you go down and ask for it.

My mother-in-law loves Sunrise of La Palma. They provide three meals a day. The staff members are excellent and very sweet. My mother-in-law loves the people that work there. They have the ability to take her to doctors' appointments, but there's an extra charge for that, so her brother comes over and takes her. They have a doctor who comes to the establishment itself.

Sunrise of La Palma's studio rooms were nice and had a sink and a little refrigerator. They had puzzles. The staff was nice and helpful. The dining area was pretty big, and the menu looked good. The place was very clean. The gardens were nice, green, and lush.

Sunrise of La Palma thought they could handle my brother, but he needs nursing care. However, they were able to do much more than the other community he was in. They told me if you eat in your room instead of in the main room with the other people, it is $10 per meal to deliver it to your room because they want people to socialize. The rooms were beautiful and had big walk-in showers that could accommodate a 350-pound person like my brother, and a little kitchenette that would have been perfect for somebody like my brother who wants things on his time, not on a schedule. They also had an exercise program. The staff was very nice and kind, and didn't look stressed. Everybody was smiling. It looked like a nice place to work because it was quiet and not like a noisy hospital. The nurse had her own little room and wasn't stuck out in the hallway with a laptop. La Palma was beautiful, and the furnishings were nice. It looked like a nice hotel.

This place is great! They care for the residents and their families so very much. My mother is in their Memory Care Unit and they are outstanding! The staff seems to care for every little need my mother has and also will help my father when he comes to visit. I feel very happy that my dad chose Sunrise for my mom. If I had only one complaint it would be the cost....they are a bit pricey.

I was very impressed with Sunrise of La Palma. It was very nice. The person who was taking us around knew the patients' names. She greeted them, and she was very nice. She was impressive. The grounds are very nice, and impressive. The place was clean. I am sure they have a cafeteria. The only drawback that I thought was you bring your own furniture. They will provide you furniture, but they charge you $15 a day. What impressed me the most is that woman who really cared about each one. You could almost feel the caring that came from her heart. For activities, they were playing cards, dominoes, and Scrabble. They were schedules when they get together, and they have a snack time.

Sunrise is a little old, but it’s a wonderful community with a lot of activities and a large, clean dining area that has a nice menu. They have a smaller section for Alzheimer’s patients with their own kitchen and schedules, which also looked very nice. I was very impressed. It was like a five-star resort.

My aunt will be moving in this weekend at Sunrise of La Palma. It is very nice, and the staff is very warm and pleasant. The apartment is beautiful. She has a one-bedroom suite, so it has a bedroom and a living room. They have all kinds of activities. It is extremely clean, and very secure.

My cousin found Sunrise of La Palma for my aunt, and they have embraced her. She seemed to have a lovely, caring, and very nice facility, I’m very happy she is there. She seems safe, well-cared for and that is really important to us. The staff cares so much for the residents, know all of the people, and are generally very nice. I’m very pleased that she is there and that helps a lot. It’s a difficult transition for anyone and it’s not easy, but she is safe and they’re attentive. The people that I’ve met that are dealing with her have genuinely been careful, so in that respect, I’m very pleased. The facility is small but lovely and clean. She has a beautiful room, clean, lovely, lots of lights, and it is very homey.

Sunrise was okay. Clean, really nice area. People were very friendly. I really enjoyed it, too. It’s right by the hospital. I live right off of La Palma and it’s probably maybe 2 ½ miles down the street. They would have been closer for me. They have a little patio which was nice. I just didn’t think he needed that anymore. I wanted him in a more enclosed area.

At sunrise of La Palma, the staff focuses on providing high-quality assisted living and memory care in a secure and friendly environment. The place is clean and quiet. Staff are all friendly and very compassionate. There are daily fitness routines especially for the oldies, creative social, learning and spiritual activities, scheduled groups trips. There are three enticing, well balanced meals served daily, also with snacks available throughout the day. Licensed on-staff nurse visits the residents on a monthly basis. There is a weekly housekeeping and dailytrash removal and also personal laundry. You can also schedule a resident and family meetings. the building is well maintained by the owners. Oh and by the way, they have a highly trained chefs that talk regularly with the residents to learn what menu healthy items they would like as they strive to create a restaurant-style dining experience for all to enjoy. The quiet residential location next door to La Palma Intercommunity Hospital is just a short drive away from some of Southern California's most popular attractions, like Knott's Berry Farm, Disneyland and California Adventure. The hospital is of close proximity so the patients are confident with the accessibility and the closeness of this location.
