About This Community

We are a Senior Living Community, located just south of the San Gabriel Valley, that offers Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Respite Care to older adults looking for more support and assistance in their everyday life. Whether you are just looking to add more social interaction to your life, or need physical assistance, we are here to help. We understand that searching for and selecting a Senior Living Community is a serious responsibility and we are honored to be included in that process.

Assisted Living:

The aging process is something we all must face in our lifetime but differs greatly from person to person. The challenges that arise during this process are often the main reason people move into an Assisted Living Community in the first place. People often seek out care, support, and understanding during a very uncertain time in their lives. Here at Walnut Valley, we take a very proactive and personal approach to helping our residents and their families manage these current concerns, giving them peace of mind now and for the future.

Here are just some of the many services provided here at Walnut Valley:

  • Medication Management
  • Assistance with the Activities of Daily Living offered at a wide range of intervals
  • 24/7 Trained Staff Onsite
  • Emergency Response System that allows residents to call for assistance.
  • Fall Risk Assessment and Management
  • Three Chef-inspired Daily Meals
  • Scheduled Transportation

Memory Care:

Unlike in Assisted Living, a move to Memory Care is often out of necessity due to a loved ones constantly increasing needs and challenges. We also understand that as their primary caregiver, you may feel uneasy about allowing someone else care for your loved one.

The Meaningful Moments Program designed to honor the individual and bring joy to their everyday life.
Parallel Programs or smaller group programs that cater to different cognitive levels so all residents can feel successful when they participate.
The Compassionate Cuisines Program specially designed to assist with any meal time challenges that may arise.
Advanced staff training by a Certified Dementia Practitioner.

At this point, Walnut Valley Senior Living Community would be a second choice. Juanita showed me around there, and she is amazing. It's the same thing that the other place includes, but it just didn't have high ceilings. It was beautifully redone, and the paint is a gray color, so it is very uplifting. Juanita is extremely knowledgeable, too. They supply the microwave and the refrigerator with a little freezer, and that was about it that I saw. I was not able to try the food. I saw the food, I smelled the food, and I saw the presentation, and I can tell that it was pretty good. The facility itself was newly remodeled. They have outdoor spaces, and they are beautiful. There were beautiful patios, and they had a courtyard. They didn't have a fountain, but it was gorgeous.

Pretty much everything I was exposed to was excellent. The staff is knowledgeable and caring. They have a courtyard, transportation, and they have a handicapped shower and toilet facility. It's near restaurants, and they provide transportation to my doctor.

I took a tour for my sister, and it's an excellent facility. They have excellent customer service. They took us all around the place, and they gave us all the information that we needed to make a decision. They followed up with us, but everything is on hold until my sister makes her decision. The kitchen set up was great as well as the dining area.

It had a good size room, but it did not have the separation of the two rooms. So, they were in like the whole same room because she was going to have a roommate. I preferred my aunt to have a little separation, but it was fine. The staff seemed really helpful. really knowledgeable and really genuine. They had services for doctor's appointments. They would take care of her. They had three meals.

I visited. It was a nice place. The staff toured us to different rooms and different areas in the whole compound. They showed us all of their facilities and what they do, and the monthly schedule that they have for everybody. It was around lunchtime when we visited. The dining area was nice.
