If you ever need additional care we offer assisted living and our Traditions memory care services on the same campus. The entire community is licensed for care so with few exceptions, there is no need to move if assistance is needed in the future.

Our amenities include all Utilities (Except Telephone), weekly housekeeping, Linen service, basic Cable Television, Indoor and Outdoor Restaurant-style Dining 7am to 7pm, 24-hour Bistro, Library, Private Family Dining Room, Movie Theatre, Fitness Center, Activity Room, Salon and Day Spa, Resident Gardens, Walking Paths, and even a fenced Pet Park. Scheduled transportation for shopping and medical appointments, personal chauffeur service and valet parking for residents are included. Some activities include a Walking Club, Yoga, Strength and Stretch, Group Scrabble, Poetry Classes, Variety of Art Classes, Community Involvement and Volunteering Opportunities, Singing and Musical Performances, Happy Hours, Offsite Excursions to Art Galleries and Museums, Attending the Symphony, Knitting Club, Book Club, Card Clubs, Themed Parties and much more!

Residents and families have the peace of mind knowing Oakmont of Fair Oaks offers a wellness center and full-time nurses 7 days a week. Our 24/7 care staff are available to assist with all of your daily living needs. When needed, our caregivers can provide assistance with Bathing, Dressing, Grooming / Personal Hygiene, Diabetic Care, Special Diets, Medication Management, Oxygen Management, Management of Incontinence, Transferring / Assistance with Ambulation, Escorts to Meals, Escorts to Activities, Escorts to Appointments, and Hospice. Care services are additional and based on an assessment that will be scheduled with our caring staff to determine an estimate of care fees.

The Oakmont Diabetes Wellness program provides comprehensive diabetic management and lifestyle support to help residents manage glucose levels and optimize health. Our fulltime, 7 day a week licensed nursing staff provide insulin administration including sliding scale dosing. They also provide routine monitoring and communication with residents' physician. We offer a Concierge Medicine Program and have partnered with highly respected local physicians to bring personalized medical care to our residents. Residents have the convenience of appointments on-site as well as 24/7 access to the Concierge physician.

Our spacious apartment homes consist of 400sf studio apartments up to 1300sf 2bed/2bath apartments with walk-in closets. Architectural details include 10ft ceilings, crown molding, ample storage space, and large windows to allow natural lighting in our apartment homes. Select units on the second floor include washer/dryer hookups. Balconies are also available in many of our 1BR options. A limited number of garages and covered parking spaces will be offered for a nominal fee.

Oakmont of Fair Oaks is wonderful as far as activities go. The activities director included us in a painting class that we attended with the residents. It was great to see that the residents were happy and engaged and getting some really meaningful, high-quality activities. We saw the dining area, which was where our activity was. It's clean, professional, and high-class. They knew the residents on a first-name basis. It's in a good central location. The grounds are well kept. It looks new. It looks like a very new facility.

Oakmont of Fair Oaks is a beautiful facility. The upkeep is excellent. The staff here makes a huge effort, but they're understaffed, both the caregiving and the kitchen staff. The building is in good condition, but the landscaping is not well maintained. There are a lot of activities here like games, excursions, music, entertainment, physical therapy, and occupational therapy programs, but I don't think the participation is high. My diet is very specific and not all the meals are the kind of food I expected, however, you can order anything that they have the ingredients to make. They will always cook for you.

I like the aesthetic of Oakmont of Fair Oaks assisted living. It doesn't look like a nursing home and that's important to me. The staff was very easy to talk to and very pleasant. I even got a little take-home gift for myself. They're very accommodating, answered all my questions, introduced me to some of the staff, and invited me back for a meal. Overall, it's very good. They offer everything. All of the facilities that I have seen offer pretty much the same thing. This one has quite a few too and it's a fairly new facility. It's one of the places that if I was ready to do it right now, I think that's where I would want to go.

Not For My Parents

This facility has had countless management changes in the 18 months since they opened - including 6 Executive Directors and 6 Health Services Directors. They are in the process of evicting residents due to their inability to properly manage care. Look elsewhere if your health and safety is dependent on consistency of care and management who you can trust.

We werent impressed with Oakmont of Fair Oaks. We thought it was overpriced. The rooms were fine and adequate in size, but they were expensive. We saw one room with exercise equipment. My mom had a dog that needed to get outside and potty, but the only apartment available was away from outside.
