Sunrise of Rocklin was very nice. It was very sunny and bright. When you walked in, you thought you were like walking into like a country manor. It's got wooden staircases, it's got a beautiful, sunny and bright breakfast room and activity room to the right, and it's got little alcoves. It's smaller and it's more expensive, which is why we ruled it out. It was expensive for us, but it's a great facility. It's beautiful. They have a chef who comes in where the kitchen area is. They do like cooking shows, and he comes out there and does a demonstration. It's really pretty; it's very nice. The people could get cereals and orange juice. They could just go in there and get things. It was a great little setup. The rooms were nice. They had great big windows so that you looked out onto a little garden. It was really pretty. They were smaller, but not bad. They had like a Jack and Jill room. The living room was on one side, and the hallway and the bathroom in there, and then the bedroom. It's very nicely laid out. They had everything that everybody else had. They had the bingo. Everybody was down there doing something in the activity room when we were there. They had a whole list of things they do on different days there. They had a really cute living room area down there where the reception area was. The staff was very knowledgeable.

Our visit to Sunrise of Rocklin was very good. I had a good view of the facilities and they seemed to be very nice. The person who gave me the tour was very nice and answered all my questions. The rooms were nice, everything was clean, and there were no odors anywhere. They had a variety of rooms and they showed me a couple of them, including suites, studios, and a companion rooms. They have a lot of public areas, and the memory care was secure so the residents couldn't get out. That made it difficult for a family to get in there -- they had to be escorted in and out. This had both positives and negatives in my opinion. Everything was very nice and very organized. I was greeted in a friendly fashion by all of the staff and the person who gave me the tour. It's a very large facility, but she seemed to be able to greet every resident she ran into by name, and she knew something about them. So that was very positive. I haven't tasted the food, but it was plated very nicely and looked good. I've observed an exercise class and a couple of gentlemen who were working on a jigsaw puzzle. There was a television area in the memory care, and there were dining tables where couple of residents were eating while watching TV. They can also have their meals brought to them, so they were able to dine as they preferred or as they did at home.

We visited the Sunrise in Rocklin and it was a very nice place. We didn't really delve into it that deeply but just the overall impression, it was very nice. We saw their pool, their exercise room and their dining room. We didn't speak with anybody there other than the person who showed us around but everything was very nice. A little expensive for our taste though. It was very well-kept and quite modern, and very up-to-date.

I assisted a resident of Sunrise Rocklin for nearly nine years. It is a wonderful " home " for the residents living there. Under the leadership of the Executive Director Scott he makes sure residents are given every opportunity to enjoy life. Carole, the Activities Director always has a smile on her face and helps the residents engage is a variety of fun things everyday. The surroundings are lovely and the staff very helpful and caring..... Sunrise is truly a gem....

Sunrise of Rocklin was very nice, warm, and inviting. The staff was super kind and nice. I saw the residents doing some classes, they also had games, and a library. Everything there was good. People would be comfortable living in that place.

My mom loves Sunrise of Rocklin. It's the best place she's lived in since she's been in assisted care, and they're great. She has her own standard studio. What makes the place great is the wonderful staff. They take my mom for walks every morning in her wheelchair. They also have authors come in and visit, and they have Bingo. They're very caring, more so than any place she's been to.

Sunrise was the best overall, but there wasn’t a big difference between the assisted living and memory care. The rooms were very clean, spacious, and had multiple options for single and shared rooms. The facility was very clean, and the staff was very friendly. They had scheduled activities shared between the assisted living and memory care.

My husband is in Sunrise of Rocklin. I could not say enough good things about this particular Sunrise. The care managers are wonderful and very patient. They hug, rub backs, know everyone's name, and know the entire family's names. They have a lot of different activities and entertainment for them. They recently, on my recommendation, put in an aviary with birds in it and the residents love it. The meals are nutritious and tasty. For those in the memory care unit who are able to still go out, they take them out for drives to a farm where there are animals and a lake where they can feed the ducks. They go out for lunch with those who are able. I was able to go away for five months, and I did not worry about the care he would receive. They communicated with me weekly. They sent me pictures and told me what he was doing.

I visited Sunrise of Rocklin, and the people were nice and friendly. The facility is very nice as well, but their rooms are very small; it was more like a hospital, and I did not like the rooms.

Sunrise was beautiful and very nice. They have lots of activities and they always have somebody on board always. They had a front room with somebody sitting and they were talking and it was nice. The inside was very warm and caring, they have a café open all the time, so people would go there and talk with their love ones. I didn’t find any problem with any one, they were so sweet and caring.

The staff at Sunrise was very friendly. It was clean, nice, and well-lit. They invited me for lunch, and I had lunch with three charming ladies who were quite happy there. The dining room was very nice and clean. The food was good. The drawbackwas that did not have WiFi in every room, and they only had a special area for WiFi. Internet connection was a big thing in my husband's life.
