I liked Carmen's Care Manor #1. It seemed like it would be pretty comfortable for my brother. The place was clean, and it looked cozy and comfortable. The rooms looked nice, and the assistants there were really nice. They had everything pretty well set up as far as taking care of medications. The room we saw had a patio which looked very comfortable with a nice yard.

I visited Carmen's Care Manor. The whole experience was good, but a pet dog was in the facility, which I did not like. The rooms were good and everything was great. The staff was friendly. The dining area was good. The price was a little bit higher but reasonable. Their location was very convenient and pretty close to my home.

We visited Carmen Care Manor #1. My aunt suffers from hallucinations, and she wanders, so they say it wouldn’t be a good set up for her. They were very nice, though. They have a really beautiful garden in the back. It just wasn’t what I wanted for my aunt.

My relative is in Carmen's Care Manor. So far, it seems really nice. The house itself is very clean, the staff seems to be very caring, and it has a beautiful backyard. It's a nice place. They have an exercise program that they do in the morning. There's not a whole lot of activities for them to do because at that age they're not really capable of that much, especially for my mom's case where she doesn't see very well, so it's not like she can do puzzles or read a book. They help with the toileting, feeding, cooking all meals, doing laundry, keeping her room clean, and helping her with personal hygiene. What they do is pretty comprehensive. From what I have seen so far, it's pretty good. The care staff can devote more time to the people living there, and because it's a small place, everybody's within earshot. They made me feel welcome, and I feel like I could walk in there, sit on the couch, and watch TV. It was pretty homey.

My ex-husband is in Carmen's Care Manor. It is a clean house in a quiet neighborhood. They had two or three staff members on site. They are very friendly, but I think one of the staff needs to learn English a little better. He seems to be happy because he can watch TV, and he seems to like it there because he can be kind of by himself. The only thing that he complains is that he is bored. Overall, I will say it is a good place. It is much more professional that where he was before. You have to sign in when you go visit, and you have to sign out when you leave so they know who has been there. I like that it is more like a house and not a hospital. I like the atmosphere, and we think that he is going to be good there. They make sure that he doesn't go out the door. I ask him how the food is, and he says its good.
