We went to see Royal Bellingham Luxury Retire. It's assisted living, and the tour was very good. I was very happy with everything, like the services. The facilities are in very good condition and it is very clean. It's a very pleasant environment. The rooms were clean, and it appears to me that the bathrooms were ADA compliant. The rooms were what would be expected for a bachelor-type apartment. They're very clean too. They offer three meals a day, in your room or in the dining room. They have a nurse on duty. They include linen and towel service, they do laundry once a week, and they do housekeeping for the apartments. They have medical transportation within ten miles. They have a doctor who comes in and visits if you want that service. They have activities and the grounds are very well maintained. I talked to some residents very briefly, and they all seemed happy and friendly. There's more than one, so they must be happy because they were all very friendly when we walked in, and they were engaging my mother. My impression was that the residents would be happy if they were all smiling and everything. I've got a good impression as far as that goes. The dining room was closed at that time. It looks like they were prepping for the next meal. They closed the dining room because of COVID, so apparently they're delivering to rooms right now. People were sitting in the dining room, though, just to get out of their room or whatever.

My mother is at Royal Bellingham Luxury Retire. It met all of my mother's needs and the rooms were very nice and large. The director there was very welcoming. It was very clean. When COVID is over it has a lot of social activities. It met her medical needs, too. It is very sunny and bright. We talked about what it was going to cost for her to live there, and once it was decided what level of care she needed, the price won't ever increase, even if her needs increase. The staff has been very helpful. Because of COVID they do not have any activities right now, but they will be getting their vaccines this week.

My friend moved to Roya Bellingham. It’s friendly, private, and less glitzy. It’s not as expensive as the others, and many of the people have Medicare or Medicaid. They provide very nice meals, but not as many choices. It doesn’t have much staff. They have bingo, card games, and large group activities. They have a TV room and a library. I was very pleased with it.

The Residences at Royal Bellingham looked very clean. The person who assisted me was one of the owners and he was very helpful. They play movies and they have televisions for the residents. The dining room looked nice. The place was clean, not elaborate, and was priced right for what they offered.

We were looking for an Assisted Living Community for our Mother because she could no longer live alone but still has independence. We visited many Assisted Living Communities from Glendale to West Lake Village. We visited and took a tour of Royal Bellingham Assisted Living Community given by Leto. My Mother wanted to move in immediately!! Leto and Julio are two of the brothers who are 2 of the 4 family members who own this Assisted Living Resident Community. They were so kind, professional and listened to all our questions. Leto, was very honest and helpful !! Seniors who need a little more assistance need a place that feels like home. That’s the feeling I got from the residents. The fees here are reasonable. I have looked around at many Assisted Living locations and for the services they offer here at other places they would charge $8,000 to $10,000 a month. Many places we looked at were like resort hotels, lovely amenities but very corporate. Royal Bellingham has a home atmosphere, and makes the residents feel like family. Leto, Lori and Julio are so kind, helpful, caring, and attentive. Genuine warmth and a safe place for our Mother is so important to us !!! Also, we are ecstatic that our Mother would have her on room and did not have to share a room. We are very happy that she still could have her own private space. I would highly recommend Royal Bellingham Assisted Living Community. If you are looking for a safe, home atmosphere, good nutritious food, clean (they are always consistently and constantly cleaning) and lots of activities for your family member, this is the place.

My wife and I have visited our friends at the Royal Bellingham many times over the last two years or so. The staff is always friendly and the administrator is very personally involved in helping the residents with their personoal issues whenever possible. This institution is one of the larger, finer, retirement homes in my area. From the outside it appears to be a large codominium complex perfectly gardened, and when one walks through the front doors a large sunlit and extremely clean lobby with elevators and an assistance desk greets you. The residents sitting in the lobby are talkative and usually up on the current events and news of the day. I don't ever recall seeing anyone sitting and watching television. There is a huge patio to the rear and a large dining area with a bar. They offer a full schedule of activities and outings every week along with special events such as family BBQ's and gatherings with the community. Although this is a larger facility, Lauri, the Administrator, carries herself with a warmth and charm that shows through her hectic days and she has managed to establish an air of home, a place to live. The bar is open once a week for events such as cards and live musical programs, etc.
