I went to Sunrise of Fullerton. The staff was extremely professional and caring. There was no pressure to make a decision right away. The facility was beautiful. I would live there. For families on a budget, it's just expensive. If you could afford it, it's great.

Sunrise of Fullerton is a magnificent place. They have daily events, bible studies, and other Christian events. They keep the seniors who are living there busy. The way I see it, they're the best for how my mother is right now. They pre-plan everything ahead of time.

Sunrise of Fullerton is beautiful, but it is just not for my father-in-law. It's a high-rise building, so I feel like my father-in-law would have been placed in a locked facility upstairs. Sunrise of Fullerton seemed very nice. The staff was very nice too. However, it was very pricey.

Sunrise of Fullerton was kind of small, and when we walked into their lobby area, it was a little cramped. It was not a spacious, roomy lobby. I had just been in another place where largely in their open area, you had independent living people. And then I went into Sunrise ,and there seemed to be a lot more people in wheelchairs and a lot of people who needed more care, so it looked a little more depressing.

Mother has been in Sunrise since the middle of September. I have a good feeling about it. The staff is very friendly and outgoing, and they call me all the time to let me know how things are going. It's close to my home, and Mother loves the food.

We did go to Sunrise of Fullerton. It was disproportionately expensive. And one of the things we were staggered at was how expensive it was. The facility and the attention that the caregivers were giving to the patients, all of that was very satisfactory. The cost was prohibitive. There is an open stairway between 2 of the floors, and I questioned whether that was something that would be conducive to people that needed advanced care, so that was one of the things that definitely suggested to us that that wouldn’t be a good environment for my mother.

My dad was in Sunrise for a number of years. It was a very nice place, but it just got too expensive and too far away. The staff was fine and very knowledgeable. The food was fine, and they had a lot of activities, but no exercise room.

We found Sunrise of Fullerton for my dad. They have one-bedroom private rooms and companion rooms with two bedrooms. They have a dining facility for all three groups. It is really, really nice. It is probably more expensive, but we really like it. The staff was just unbelievable. Everybody greeted us. They were the nicest people. I didn't get to see any of the food, but I know that they would offer them two different types of entrée a day. They would give them three meals and snacks. They have activities where they take them out on little scenic trips. They have a room upstairs for the memory care people where they play games. When we went there, they had them all in this one room, and they were singing. Also they have a happy hour on Friday. They have a nice sitting area to sit, and there is a little area like a bistro where you can get lemonade and water. Their dining room was just absolutely wonderful. It was like a restaurant type of thing.

Sunrise of Fullerton was an airy place, high ceilings, and a feeling like an old mansion. They had very warm and friendly people there. There was a bistro café as you walk in on the side that offered coffee and snacks to the residents and the guests. It was like an old nice hotel. The staff were very helpful,. They were right on it all the time -- everything that was needed -- and followed up with my mother. The apartments were pretty and surrounded by trees and walking paths. It was very green looking out the window. The one-bedroom didn't have a door between the bedroom and the living room, but it did go around the corner, so there was some sense of privacy between the two. There were two closets, a good sized bathroom, and a kitchen. It looked nice, and I thought I want to live here. The menu was on the elegant side; it wasn't just macaroni and cheese and hotdogs, but different kinds of nice salads, roast beef, and chicken done in different ways. It was like a restaurant menu rather than a cafeteria. The dining area was quite large, and people could sit by themselves if they wanted to. There's also a family dining room. They also told me that they get their orders based on the choices of the day, and they come and bring them their food. They had physical activities like exercise classes and community college classes where instructors would come in and teach, and they had some games and movie nights.

I visited the today and it was beautiful. They have 3 areas of care and I have not seen that before. They have animals for the elderly. The building is well kept and everyone was very nice. It was a bit expensive for my budget but worth the money if we he it.

I visited Sunrise. It was a beautiful place; the staff was lovely. It had 3 levels of care: it had the assisted living and then memory care. I didn't choose it because the memory care residents were locked up upstairs and they were not able to take advantage of the beautiful surroundings downstairs. I thought the rooms were depressing.

It was very nice. The staff was very caring and the people looked happy.

I had the privilege of visiting this Assisted Living Community a few years ago for a school project. The hiring coordinator was very helpful in providing me with an in-depth look into the community. It was during my visit that I saw a senior volunteer assisting a man who appeared to have dementia. It was reassuring to see how Sunrise of Fullerton reaches out to the community in providing senior citizens a role within their own age group. As I continued my tour, I came across some other volunteers who were working alongside the Activity Director in creating necklaces for the upcoming Mardi Gras celebration. Every employee I came into contact with was friendly, and well-groomed. If I had to place a loved one into an Assisted Living facility, Sunrise of Fullerton would be a probable option.
