I have moved into Oakmont of Chino Hills. The facility is modern, clean, and beautiful. The food is excellent. The staff is excellent. I have no complaints whatsoever. There are a variety of activities. They play poker for men. They have bingo, and they have classes. They have all kinds of activities. Yesterday, we were in a thing which was just people sharing some of their life experiences and chatting in a room with a bunch of people. They have movies. I understand they're going to have some live entertainment over the weekend. There is plenty to do. Here are the activities today: stretching flex exercise, scenic bus ride, chair exercise, movie, bingo, one-on-one residential sharing, and movie. Tomorrow is the same thing with a couple other added like happy hour and a lecture by somebody. There's plenty to do here. I think they could have more varied activities. All week, there's only one trip outside. They could have more people giving lectures. However, I would recommend this place to anybody.

Oakmont of Chino Hills was very upscale. The lady was very knowledgeable. The building was much larger, so the tour was longer and there were more things and activity areas to see. It was very bright, airy, friendly, and the residents looked very happy.
The rooms and everything there was very nice and very clean. The grounds were beautiful to walk on and the staff was very friendly. Everybody smiled and said hello. It was just very welcoming. Entertainment was going on when we were there (they had someone downstairs singing), but they also had a theater and more activities to offer than the other facility that we visited.

We had a great tour at Oakmont of Chino Hills. It was like an hour long. The community seems perfect for my mother-in-law. It seems to be a good fit. I like the activities and just the level of things for her to do because she's very social, so we needed a place where she could meet friends and do things. That's what we liked about it the most. They have a movie theater, a game room and a lot of things. The apartments were nice. They were the best out of the places we saw. They were roomy, clean, and updated. It was good. It didn't seem like it was assisted living. My grandmother was in assisted living and this is way nicer than where she was. The staff was super friendly and super helpful. We didn't try the food. We're hoping this week to take her back to do lunch, but she's pushing back. The dining area was great. It seemed like a regular restaurant with menus and they had wine with dinner. It just seemed like a nice restaurant. They had an outdoor area, a little dog park, a swimming pool, and a little sitting area.

My mother is a resident of Oakmont of Chino Hills. It is very good with clean facilities, medical staff on premises, and a broad range of services. They have a library and an internet or business center. They have a full kitchen and dining area; they also have an outdoor patio.

Oakmont of Chino Hills is an amazing facility. It's absolutely beautiful. The rooms are very cozy, set up a little bit differently, and probably a little more spacious than the current room my dad has. There's a little kitchenette and a living room area in the rooms. The grounds are beautiful, they have a pool, and a spa, so it's pretty extravagant. They have activities. They have a gym, a theater, and a game room. The staff was amazing. She kept in contact with me while I was in the process of deciding, and then she also reached out to me after we had placed him letting me know if there was any issue or if she could be of any help to just call her.

Rooms are very nice. But everything else at Oakmont of Chino Hills is absolutely awful. If you are new, they will tell you everything you want to hear. But the food is not good, activities are cheap and cheesy, no one is ever in the gym to help, can't get maintenance to ever show up and caregivers treat you like you are worthless. Do NOT go here, turn around. If you don't believe me, ask any resident there while you are walking around.

The Oakmont of Chino Hills was a beautiful facility, we were very impressed, and it was within our budget. I was impressed by its cleanliness, and the attentiveness of the staff. The place was very nice, and it was even luxurious, but I think my father was intimidated by it. They were just holding their first community concert since the COVID-19 quarantine, but they were wearing masks and practicing social distancing. What they were offering prior to the quarantine was really impressive; they had a great program. We saw the menu, the food looked great, they had a lot of options, and the options were impressive. The staff was top notch and they were great.

I'm now living at Oakmont of Chino Hills. It is excellent. They have all kinds of activities. They have bingo and all kinds of games. They have a library, they have an exercise room, and they have exercise people that come in. The staff members are very attentive, very compassionate, and very knowledgeable about their field. I get good value for the money.

Oakmont of Chino Hills was very nice, very clean, and spacious. The person during the visit was very nice. The food was very good and the dining area was very nice, clean, and very good. They offer a lot of amenities. They had a sauna, a pool and a private space where my father can just be by himself.

I can't wait until my family member moves out of Oakmont which will be soon.
Poor care and with the expensive cost what exactly included in that because it's not personal care.
Ants all over in room I made four separate complaints regarding ants still nothing done.
Sat at dinner table for 25minutes with family member to finally get water at our table. Staff at dinner looked rushed a not enough staff or less talking to each other especially across the whole room.
My list goes on and on...if your family member is completely independent good place, if they need even their bed turned down be prepared for extra costs.
Front desk lady's where rude upon my arrival and I have not been here for over a year and do not know them so a welcoming greeting would have been nice.

Everything at Oakmont of Chino Hills looked wonderful. The environment was fine, and the staff members were very helpful and knowledgeable about the place. It is just that they don’t do the care that I am looking for for my mom. I was there at lunchtime, and we were invited to stay, but we had another appointment to keep. The food looked very inviting.

We did visit Oakmont of Chino Hills. It was very nice and very clean. They had very nice people, and they had lots of activities, but it was not in our price range. It was too far from my sister-in-law too.

I went to Oakmont, and it’s a very nice and lovely facility. I would have chosen that except it was $2000 more than I could spend, and it was a longer drive for me. The cleanliness was excellent, and the staff was very professional.

We put my mother in Oakmont of Chino Hills. They said that they would have a certain level of care, but they didn't, so it was a bad experience. The only opening that they had was a more expensive unit, a top-of-the-line two-bedroom. My mom has an ostomy, and the facility supposedly had the level of care to accept her with that condition. Unfortunately, that proved not to be the case. She was there for eight days. It seemed like a good community for somebody who would not be needing more care than what my mom needed. It was a hard and expensive lesson to learn. It cost about $1,000 a day to be there. If somebody is in good health and ambulatory, it's a fine place. If somebody needs care, it's not the place to go. The facility was very clean and very expensive. The room was fine and very nice. They should do better assessments of the people who are potentially going to stay there. My mom shouldn't have been there in the first place. Obviously, they accepted her to get her money, not to take care of her.

The staff at Oakmont of Chino Hills was very friendly and very helpful. As a matter of fact, I put my mom on a wait list there before I found the other facility. I was impressed with their facilities and with their staff. Their rooms were beautiful. The one reason that I didn’t end up moving my mom there, even when there came an availability, was because my mom’s care needs increase, they would have let her stay in a studio apartment and taken care of her with hospice, but at that point, I didn’t want to uproot her again. The atmosphere was very upbeat. It was clean. It was very cheerful. The staff knew all of the people that live there, and all the staff greeted me as I walked through the facility. In addition to the residents that were there, they seemed really happy to be there.

Oakmont offered a lot of amenities. It was a lot larger but not quite as accommodating; they only had studio apartments available. The staff was top notch. The common areas were very good, very clean, very well lit, and very nice. I would absolutely recommend it to others. They were great.

My visit to Oakmont was good. Everything was great, but the catch was the price. There was a beauty salon and activities for the residents. Their dining area was nice.

At Oakmont of Chino Hills, the people are really nice, the food is good, the place is clean, and it has a very nice atmosphere. I just feel comfortable knowing that my mom is safe there. My mom is a big bingo player, so she loves playing bingo there. They have card games, too. The pool is a big deal for my mom because she loves to exercise in it. They have outdoor activities, too, like shopping. I think this facility is excellent. I never had any problems; everything has been great. The staff goes out of their way to make sure everybody is taken care of and accommodated. Even when the residents are not feeling well, they go out of their way to make sure they check up on them. If my mom is not feeling well, they bring her food to her room.

My uncle lived in the assisted living of Oakmont, and he has ready access to come down and have breakfast, lunch, and stuff. The staff is really good, and the food is absolutely incredible. My dad is also in Oakmont, but he is not yet participating in activities because he is still getting used to it. He is in a very nice one-bedroom apartment. The bathroom lights had motion detection. He has an end unit, so he has an extra window outside.

I visited Oakmont Chino Hills. I like them, but they were a little steep with their price. It's a very nice facility. It was one of the higher end ones. The staff was very friendly and nice when I had my visit.

Oakmont of Chino Hills takes dogs, and they have a dog park. They have a swimming pool with aerobic exercises. You can have your own garage with some storage. Every unit has an outdoor patio. The location is very good because it is near shopping, a post office, and a drug store. It is not isolated. The dining facility is much more like a restaurant. The negative thing about it is that I have to be on a waiting list.

Aegis of Chino hills changed its name to Oakmont of Chino Hills. The facility was very nice and very clean. They were renovating when we visited, but wasn't that old to begin with. There were a lot of activities, and they have a lot of on-site care, like beauticians who can do your hair and nails. They have a nice theatre inside the place. The staff is very good. They know their people by name and are very close to them. The dining area was very beautiful, nice, and very clean. I am quite impressed by it.

Oakmont was one of the most impressive. It had a warm, caring feeling. The City Hall is on it, but it is more in the country part. It's more than just independent living. They had some form of nursing care because they have an area for memory issues like Alzheimer's. I was impressed. It was something I could compare everything to.
The lady who took me around knew a lot of people, so I could tell that she was involved. She and everybody else on the staff that she introduced me to seemed to be caring. I watched them talk to other people who were obviously residents. She did take me to talk to one gentleman who lived there in his room and everything looked good. The room was spacious enough, but what was shown to me was the cheapest of the rooms, so it was smaller. The facility, because it's relatively new, was excellent.

My grandfather lived here for 4 months after developing dementia. He was a difficult patient as he had lost most of his memory and become angry and paranoid, however the nurses were very kind to him and dealt with his behavior. While I'm not sure the nurses may have been the most schooled, they were definitely very kind and helped to put him and my family at ease. In my opinion, this was more important because there is no cure for Alzheimer's and my family only wanted him to be as comfortable as possible. He never developed bedsores or other infections that often plague bed ridden patients, which made us more confident in his stay there. While there many programs offered to residents of the home, my grandfather was unable to participate in most of them; therefore I am unable to comment on their usefulness. Overall I would definitely recommend this facility for patients with dementia as the nurses seemed to know how to care for these patents and made their comfort a priority.
