My mother and I visited many different facilities before deciding on Raincross. Raincross has impressed me for many reasons. The place is clean, safe and the staff is very friendly. The staff knows my mother well and I can count on Raincross to take care of her medications as well as her physical and emotional needs. The residents have the option of participating in many activities and my mother always enjoys the meals! I feel reassured to know that my mother is well taken care of at Raincross.

My wife has found a place she liked that her friends recommended. It's Raincross at Riverside in downtown Riverside. She's been there for 3 months now and she's in their assisted living.
I have no great fondness for it but I'm okay with it. It's just a two-story complex with patios and gardens. They have a variety of activities but she is very limited in her mobility so she does not attend. She has to be in a wheelchair all the time because she's not able to walk.
The food is not to my liking but she tried and liked it. The staff, including her caretakers, are friendly. It's quite clean and well-kept too.

Raincross at Riverside was more downtown. It's a centralized place, so it would be a better location if you're in the area. The location itself makes it very cramped. There's no good parking. I just felt like there was a lot of traffic because it's in front of a bunch of other little individual homes where people are going back and forth in their cars. It's in a very small area and it's right off a main street. For some people, that would be the perfect thing that they would want, but it just didn't meet our needs.
They had good amenities and the restaurant was still closed from COVID for some reason. The other restaurant was operating though. We actually went in when things had lightened up. We were still wearing our masks and everything, but it seemed still very closed down. We weren't able to visit a lot of places because they were kind of closed from COVID, but the rooms were fine and they were nice. I think it's only two stories, and the other place that we viewed that I liked so much had three or four stories, and so every balcony had a beautiful view of mountains. Whereas in Raincross at Riverside, you didn't really have much of a view, but they've got a lot of trees, and it was still pretty.
What I also noticed when we were up on the second floor was there were a lot of portable air conditioning units outside the doors, and I thought that sounded like maybe the air conditioning didn't work as well, but their security was probably a lot stiffer than the other one because they had it all on computers and everything.

So far, my father is enjoying it there at Raincross at Riverside. The staff and people have been pretty good, he seems to like everybody there, and he has no complaints. His room looks smaller than the place where he was living before, but they were able to set things in order, so he was able to fit his things in there. He's comfortable, he likes the food, and he likes the people. He does want to play bingo for money and not for chocolates, but other than that he's comfortable. They don't have that many activities, and that's one thing that could be improved. But they have outings two-to-three times a week where they will go to different stores and shopping centers. The price is pretty good.

My mother has already moved into Raincross at Riverside. It has only been a few days, but so far, I like it. The staff is very friendly. Her apartment is fine; it's nice. Good set-up for her. She hasn't been in that long yet, I haven't really got to see everything, but so far, I like it.

The staff at Raincross at Riverside has been really good. Sometimes, they're a little slow to get to the room, but they have a lot of patients, so you just have to be patient. They're all very friendly and very knowledgeable, they talk to the residents, they are very personable with them, they hug them, and they have a good rapport with their residents. They are changing ownership and the management company. I fully expect the problems that we have will change. We've addressed it with the new people when they took over. The food right now is really horrible. My mother hates it. The fees have not gone up. They will go up on the anniversary date as they normally would. They overcook the food and it's not healthy. This gentleman who's taking over seems to be genuine and really wants to raise things up, especially the food. I talked to them today and they're already putting in new computers. I feel like they're trying to improve things.

This facility is very good! It’s the best place for my mom. The director and staff are awesome! They made it so easy to place my mom under a difficult situation.
Very caring and gentle to my mom.

Raincross was very nice, but the cost was prohibitive. The people we talked to were really nice.

I am the visitation pastor for our Riverside parish and am in the assisted living facility at least once a month. I've lunched with several residents, find the meals tasty, the staff always willing to go the extra mile and the residents content. I'd enjoy living at Raincross at Riverside when my time comes.

Raincross in Riverside followed up with an email with more information for me. I was impressed. I like the feel and the sense of it. It was all good, and very safe and secure. They have doctors visiting and nurses there and are also close to medical centers. They have outdoor and daily activities, but I’m not sure of the schedule. What I like about it is that they have senior apartment living on the same grounds as memory care and assisted living.

The staff and the rooms were nice. Raincross is a 3 or 4-story building, and it’s a big complex. The dining room was setup nicely and clean. They had a little area where they could choose drinks or water. They have a lounge area and a courtyard where they could sit. The activities they had were bingo, arts and crafts, and church services. The rooms were smaller, and you get a nice high top dresser up there. They have a 1-bedroom apartment, and the staff was nice.

I was not too impressed with the staff at Raincross because I went in to get information, and they just gave me the brochure and rushed me out. They told me to come back when I’m ready to go on a tour, and it was like they didn’t want to talk to me about the place, prices, or anything. They sent me out, so I got in my car and left; I was not impressed with them at all. From what I could see from the outside, Raincross looked fairly new and modern. The outside looked clean and well-landscaped. There was no major hospital close by, but there was a shopping center and a Sears maybe three or four blocks away.

My special friend needed the care of the special care unit. The staff from the manager, Cathy, Ruthie, and Jennifer Foley and their staff provided the best of care. The unit staff took care of her every need with a caring desire to assist the clients. The people they care for were all special and they showed everyone they were special. I think of them often. We fortunate to have Raincross at Riverside. It provides an excellent choices of meals, living environment and qualified trained staff. If I had to choose again for a family member or myself Raincross would be the place to be. There are many places for seniors to live; but, very few with the quality.

Raincross was smaller. We like the environment. My father-in-law had been there once before. We like the facility. His room was perfect for him, the layout, the size. We just love all the care he's getting there. We love the food. He's only been there about a month. He goes and watches the movies.

I have been working with Raincross for the past 6 months (due to changing needs for my parents) and the Raincross staff have not only been VERY helpful, they TRULY CARE! I never felt like I was bothering them with the many questions I had. Although I did not end up placing my parents here (we were looking for a very short stay for my father while my mother had knee surgery), they have followed up with me several times just see how my parents were doing. I would definitely select this place for them to come and live when that time comes for us. The atmosphere here is wonderful and the individuals that are living here now ALL love it and there are so many activities for everyone!

Raincross at Riverside had different levels of care. Aside from assisted living, it also had more for the Alzheimer's and dementia patients. We visited it because it was the closest one to where we're living right now. It was very clean. They were very friendly. It seemed like a very nice place. It was just too expensive. The staff seemed very knowledgeable and very friendly, so if I could afford it, it would not be a bad place to be. They invited me to one of their support groups for caregivers, and that was very interesting. The residents that were able to move around were all happy.

From the very beginning, we were impressed with the care, concern and attention that we received from the Raincross personnel during our very challenging process of moving my Aunt into a residence there. Everyone was always available to us, and ready and willing to assist us during the process, even helping us with some of the unexpected challenges we encountered that were not part of their responsibilities. We felt like we had friends helping us through it all, and they definitely went above and beyond.
My Aunt has lived at Raincross for over a month now and we visit there regularly. The atmosphere is always pleasant and upbeat and everyone still takes the time to care and be friendly and helpful. We now know that my Aunt is safe and being well cared for and we are so very grateful to the Raincross staff.
I'd like to say a special "thank you" to Ruthie, Robin, Kathy, Jennifer, and Lisa for their help and patience getting us through all of this.
We would most definitely recommend Raincross!

I visited Raincross and it was very nice. I was new and very clean. The people there were very nice and friendly. However, they didn't have any vacancies in the assisted living. They wanted to show me another one that was in the Alzheimer's group and it was terrible because it was very small and very depressing. There was no color in it, it was all beige and brown. I thought if I moved in there, I might be there permanently and I didn't want that. The food was salty and it had sugar in it. However, the dining room was very nice, newly appointed and spacious enough.

Raincross was a good assisted living facility. I visited one room, but they didn't have the room that I needed. The staff was nice because they were under the training and supervision of people who knew best.

I visited a senior apartment community called Raincross Senior Village. It is a three-storey building. It has elevators so it is convenient for seniors. It is a very nice place with very nice grounds. This community also allows pets. The rental price includes all utilities, so there are no surprises in terms of payments. It is apparently well-run and they have very nice staff. Their amenities include a gym, a spa, a pool, and a computer room just to name a few. They also have central room for meetings and having dinners. They also got activities for their residents. This place is conveniently located because right across the street is an assisted living facility. So if you reach a point that you can't live alone anymore or you need extra medical help or care, you just have to move there.

I knew somebody at Raincross, and I've visited them there. I like the facility. It's a very affluent neighborhood. Within a couple of blocks are churches, stores, doctor's offices, and other facilities. I'm moving into a 2-bedroom which is quite spacious, about 1,200 sq./feet. I like the idea that they have a patio. I will be able to keep the majority of things that I want to keep. When I went there to visit, there was one nice lady and she took me on a tour. She showed where everything was and explained things to me, introduced me to some of the people that were there. They have a library, a movie theater, card clubs and game clubs, even a piano for entertainment.
