Vandelon Inc Home Care II was nice. A gentleman met me there. Everything was nice and clean. They have a lot of care people there. There were people in the kitchen cooking. They have two houses right there on that corner and they have adjoining backyards. The room was a nice size and it had a private bathroom. My stepfather likes a quiet place and I thought it may be too noisy for him. It's a busy thoroughfare, even though they had a yard and it was a nice home. That's the only thing I didn't care for there. The only room available was right off the kitchen and it seemed like that would be too noisy for him. Those were things that I thought for him wouldn't be a good fit, but there was nothing wrong with them. They were very nice, give you a lot of information about what they do right off the bat, they communicate well about what they do and their services. I like the big backyard. They had a very nice patio out back with some fruit trees and orange trees and a covered patio. I thought it would be nice if they wanted to sit outside in a wheelchair or something. I liked that myself. They were nice people. They called me back. I saw a van pull up there to take somebody in a wheelchair out for appointments and things. The caregivers were outside helping with all that. They seemed very efficient and nice. It's a full busy place. It's a residential home turned into a licensed board and care. The people inside were very friendly while I was there touring. They've got very friendly women in the kitchen cooking.
