My parents are at Rowntree Gardens. They're very good. The staff is very nice and kind. They have pretty gardens and nice lunch area and there are several of them. There's one in their little building and there's a really big dining area. Their big courtyard is all gardens. They have some outside shuffleboard. They have little outside activities and music. They have a very nice suite that I got to stay in and it was 75 dollars, but that's not too bad. That was a plus. I think they like the food personally, but I didn't get to eat there. Value for money is pretty good.

We have selected Rowntree Gardens. They have beautiful outdoors and a really caring caretakers and staff. The staff is very efficient, very nice, know your names, very polite, and very caring. The rooms are really nice, large, have a sunroom, and a great view of the garden. The food is good, plentiful, and a lot of variety in the menu. They have a lot of activities, so there's something going on all the time. They have a lot of entertainment, computer classes, art classes, writing classes, and sports things like shuffleboard. They have a hospital here, a Gardens memory care, and a church. They have everything covered here.

Rowntree Gardens staff was very friendly. It's an older place and it's been around for a while, but it was nice. There were a lot of people there. It was very clean and well maintained. They also had skilled nursing in the same location, which was a plus. They had a wide range of activities and apartments and the space was just right. The facility was well kept up. Parking was fine, and they close the gate at night and you had to call to get in.

Rowntree Gardens was nice, but a little outdated and older. The people were nice. There was a $9,600 entrance fee, and that was a showstopper right there. The parking was very limited. They had a 1-bedroom where the bed was located to the side, and there's a folding door that you can use to close the room off. It was well-appointed and nice.

My mom was at Rowntree Gardens. They were very friendly and very helpful. It was my mom’s first time to go into assisted living, so they were very mindful of that. They made her feel comfortable as much as possible. I had no problems with them at all. They can watch TV, they have speakers to talk to them about different things, they will take them out on field trips to go eat and things like that, and they went to see concerts in the local area. They kept her as busy as possible.

I have to say I loved Rowntree Gardens. The rooms were delightful, well appointed, and very spacious. The grounds were well kept, and the staff was very friendly. We did not get to eat their food, but we were there at meal time, and the food looked delicious.

I found Rowntree Gardens very pleasant. The staff was very pleasant as well. It seemed clean, very accommodating, and a fun place to be. I would want to place my mother there.

We looked at Rowntree Gardens. The staff was nice. We liked the apartment a lot better than other places we visited. It had a lot more space. However, it was a little too old for me. Nevertheless, the activities were OK, and the apartments were nice.

Rowntree was nice. They had very good grounds, and they also had a picnic area which was impressive to me. They had two restaurants, and they had fireplaces. The restaurant area was cozy and homey. The staff also contributed to the homey type of environment. They had activities, and they had some nice little common areas which were also impressive.

Rowntree Gardens was very nice. The person that took us around was very nice. That was the one that my mom wanted to go to, but then she thought about it because they had apartments. It was across the campus, and she would have to be in her little apartment basically by herself, but she was afraid to be by herself at night. Then she would have to travel across the campus to go to the dining room, and she was afraid to do that. Otherwise, that would have been our pick because it was in Orange County, and that was where my dad was. The campus was very nice, and they do things with their residents there.

We haven't actually started having mom go there, but it is very reasonably priced, and it did have a lot of different services to offer. They have everything from independent living to skilled nursing, they have a clinic on site, and there are just a lot of nice options and activities and things. It was transitioned recently; it was Quaker Gardens before, and now it's Rowntree Gardens. They were making a lot of remodeling and are just finishing up the remodeling that they were doing, but I would say it is very attractive and has a lot of open space.
They do have a bus that goes around to different places like the grocery store and drug store, and they have some outings, but then they have activities on the campus too. I know they have a big Fourth of July celebration and others, but I can't remember exactly.
The staff is extremely friendly and professional. I was primarily looking for memory care and -- as I have seen in other places -- the people in the memory care were just further down the road than my mother was and mostly were not able to do anything. The main thing that stood out was this place has a lot of people that are up and having conversations, so there are a lot more different levels. I hope it will work.

The place was lovely. It was an independent, assisted living and then a memory care center that had different buildings. Their grounds and all that were really nice, but unfortunately, that was not the memory care. The memory care was nice, but it was a little bit institutional. However, the workers were very caring. It was a faith-based run facility, which I liked. They don't press the faith, but it was clearly present in the facility and embraced by the people who worked there. It was very clean and well-organized. The woman walked me through. Many people knew her whether you were in the assisted living side or in the locked memory care. She knew many of the people in there, and for me that spoke values because this was an administrator, and yet she would stop and be caring to the people that lived there. She was very hands-on which was lovely to see. However, it was a little bit far from my home. I would like it to be a little bit closer. It would also be nice if there few more rooms made a little bit homier in the common areas.
