The Terraces of Roseville would be a very nice place to go. The lady showed me a room right off the dining hall and it would have been nice to get to. We went there twice and we were toured by both the manager and her assistant separately. I was with my son and they put me in a wheelchair, which made it very nice.
They had a nice big backyard where they had barbecues. Then they had pretty good sized boxes of dirt set up for people to go out and grow things on their own. There were several people who enjoyed getting their hands dirty. They could either grow their own flowers or some of them even grew little vegetables. It was there to make them feel like they were more at home. I thought that it was nice that they'd go to that extent. They let them do things on their own.
They had buses all lined up outside where they could take people, like the museum in town and an upcoming art show downtown. The staff was very nice and seemed knowledgeable. The facility was very nice and very clean. When you opened the front door, it was inviting, bright, and cheerful.

The thing about The Terraces of Roseville that we noticed is that there are a lot of people and they're all walking around, all the people that live there. We talked to quite a few of them, they were just so very happy, and they weren't just staying in their room. We like the fact that this place was more social. My father puts it this way, it was like walking into a resort or a hotel, and he liked that. He liked the size of the room. The room has one of the nicest refrigerators. It wasn't a full-sized refrigerator, but it had a nice little freezer in it. He liked the refrigerator, he liked the kitchenette, and he liked the granite counter. It's a little bit more modern, and it has ceiling fans in there.
They have a dog park, and they have three different gardens, which all the rooms go around. They have a nice deck off the dining area, and you could go out there and eat and visit. They have a walking path around the whole thing. They have three courtyards, and there's one that overlooks this area where you can have your dogs. It looks like they have either a veggie garden or where you can plant plants. All the gardens or courtyards are very nice. The facility is beautiful.
We were able to try the food. One of the reasons we picked that place is that the chef is very good. We talked to a lot of people that live there, and they love the food. Their salesperson is excellent. Her name is Kerry. Anybody who wants to go there, should talk to her. She's wonderful, very caring, and compassionate. They seem like they have a very good rapport with the residents there. They know them all; they know all the names. It just looked like everybody was happy. Their reception area is very nice, and the receptionist is very friendly. They have a great library, a puzzle room, and a pool table area, too.

The staff members at The Terraces of Roseville were extremely friendly and accommodating. They engaged with the residents and knew them by name. The residents seemed happy to see them and chat with them. The grounds were beautiful, the rooms were nice, and the layout of the facility seemed to be convenient for everybody.
They have a barber that would come in, then they also have a veterans program, interns from the local high school/colleges that come in and do volunteer work with the residents, church services, outings that they take the residents to, a mini-theater, a library, computer rooms, and a lot more.

The Terraces of Roseville was a very nice place and the price range was less than what she is paying now, so that was good. Most of them had balconies, so you could go outside on your balcony, too. They have three floors. Their third floor is independent living. Then the second and first floors are assisted living. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. They had a very good menu. They serve it on plates, real dishes, which my mom isn't having right now. All their meals are on China dishes. I saw the table setting. They had them set up and they had the cloth napkins on the tables and stuff and it looked very nice. They had a couple of different areas outside. One of them was called the dog park. It sounded like they had a lot of activities every day. I told them she does not like to play cards, so they said they had others, but I didn't get into detail about that.

My dad will be up at The Terraces of Roseville. The reason we'e putting him there is because we're confident about it. Everything was perfect and it fit my dad. The sales person was confident.

My mother is at The Terraces of Roseville. It's decent enough, though she needs a little more care than what they can offer. I haven't been able to get into the place other than the lobby, that's as far as I can get into because of the COVID. The person who answers the phone is polite and friendly. The building is a fairly large 3-story place. They have activities for the residents, but currently they're on lockdown.

I moved into the Terraces of Roseville. I've only been here for a while, but it's been good so far. The staff has been excellent, they're very good about cleaning the apartment; I have a wonderful cleaning lady. It's just a two-bedroom, but for the price, it's very good, and it's all I need. It's an old building, but it's in very good shape, everything is functional, and it's great. The meals are adequate. Since I've been here, I've been extremely happy.

The Terraces of Roseville is very nice and my father is very happy there. Its very nice, theyve individual little apartments, and the staff is helpful and friendly. Hes really very happy with the staff that works there. He doesnt utilize a lot of the services, but anything we want, they can provide it at an additional charge. They have wine and stuff, and little concerts where bands come in and play music for them. They have church services, and additional conveniences, like theres a podiatrist coming in this Friday. They have a barber shop, they have a few clubs, and they have an association for veterans. He has a little apartment with a kitchenette, refrigerator, sink, and microwave in the bar, but no stove. They have a small living room, a bedroom, bathroom, and a little patio that overlooks a courtyard. They take them places if they need to go to the bank or the store. It pretty much offers everything that they need, and hes able to move around and utilize them. The portions of the food are not huge, but it's interesting that you have to order each thing that you want for the food. They give you what you want, and they will deliver it to your room when youre sick. I think that's nice.

I'm staying at The Terraces of Roseville. We have three meals a day whether you're in independent or assisted living. It's open seating and you can have breakfast anytime. Lunch is served starting at 11:30 and you can have it anytime the whole afternoon. It's a very good setup and I love their food. I like that the building is very well it with wide corridors. The activities are just right, but they could have more. They have happy hour twice a week on Fridays and Saturdays. Somebody comes to sing for entertainment. The staff is very helpful and the servers are so nice.

My mom needed shots, but The Terraces of Roseville wasn't able to do that. They were in the process of remodeling a lot of the rooms. The issue was parking, and then the access in and out of the facility was a problem because Sunrise is such a very busy roadway. It's very difficult to get in and out of there. I had to go all of the way around the building to get to where I parked. I didn't like the staff member. She didn't seem very knowledgeable. I was only in there for 45 minutes and it was one of the quickest visits I had. She started right away with the tour. She didn't ask me any questions to begin with. I thought we would sit down first and discuss some stuff, and we ended up discussing things on the way. I don't think she had a very good presentation. The dining area was great and the facility was OK, but I wasn't very impressed. We looked at two different rooms and they both seemed OK.

I really liked The Terraces of Roseville, but it was just too far away for us. It had big beautiful rooms, and they were being remodeled. It was a very nice large place, but the smaller places were better for my mom. They had lots of activities. The staff was great, very knowledgeable, and very friendly. The person that toured us around was wonderful. We looked at the menu, and it looked great, but we didn’t try the food.

The Terraces of Roseville was a good and nice facility, but it didn’t fit her needs. We’re looking for limited places from Medi-Cal. The rooms were a good size -- probably 20x20 -- and the staff was nice. It was one lady that met with me, and she walked me through the place. The dining area was nice.

The Terraces of Roseville was old, but my major concern was that the room they showed us had an odor, and when I opened the cupboards, there were still ramen-type noodles in the cabinet. I thought they should have cleaned it first before showing it to us; though it looked like it had been cleaned, but just not well enough. If they'd shown us a room trying to impress us with that, I'm concerned about the level of care and housekeeping that my mom would get if she lived there. The menu was good, and mom would be happy with the food. We saw a lot of people, and they looked engaged and smiling, which was a really positive sign for us.

The woman I met who took me on the tour at The Terraces of Roseville was wonderful and pleasant. The rooms were nice. Overall, it was a good experience.

At The Terraces of Roseville, I liked their dining room hours. The facility was more modern, and the room was nicer than the other facility I saw. It was not as spacious but it and the staff were very nice. The lady who showed me around was nice. They had two people at the front desk to help people. They had two lounge areas, which was nice.

Mom is at The Terraces of Roseville. We really like the community. It's not that upscale, but it's very clean. She has her own, nice apartment. Their dining area is very spacious with a big fireplace. We ate with Mom a couple of times, and their food was not great, but Mom enjoys most of the meals there, so that's what counts.

You could stay in the same unit apartment starting out as independent living at The Terraces of Roseville, and if you need assisted living you can just choose to have their services. They have a restaurant, and their food is good. Just looking around the facility, it's clean and well-kept inside and out.

Care is excellent, and the staff is very attentive at The Terraces of Roseville. They have rides every Wednesday, they take the residents to Wal-Mart or Target for shopping on Mondays, and they take them to doctor’s appointments within a certain radius. On Sundays they take my mother to church, they have rides afterwards, and they have bingo.
It’s an older building, but it’s very nice and very active. I have called the front desk and put in a request to have the stairways cleaned, but I haven’t heard anything yet. Parking needs to be improved; it’s very restricted for people like myself that go to visit or get my mother. I think it would be nice if they had a walking area; a lot of the residents walk around the building, but they need to be probably repaved because the road is worn and my mother has limited vision, and a lot of people like to get a walk around the building.

My parents stayed at The Terraces of Roseville because it was accessible to other members of the family. They stayed there until my mother passed away. They had a one bedroom apartment. The staff were better than in the other facility. There were also several activities for the residents. I would recommend this facility to other people.

I visit this utility at least 3 times a week to spend time with my 90 year old mom. The staff are exceptionally caring. The facility is clean and upkeep is remarkable. The food is prepared by a professional chef and the mealtime options are presented to residents in a cafe style menu form. This is the 3rd facility in which my mom has lived and this by far is heads above any we've experienced. I was an ombudsman for many years in the San Francisco Bay area and am returning to this very valuable process in February for Placer County here in Sacramento, CA.

When my grandfather first arrived at the facility, I wasn't sure what to think. The place he had stayed previously had been newer and I was concerned about the staff. However, once we met a few people, I knew it would be a great place. When you walk in the door, the lobby is very clean, and open. It gives a feeling of homeyness. The receptionist we spoke to was shy and quiet, but other wise nice. The rooms were all spacious and well taken care of. The whole place smelled nice, and there was a distinct feeling of comfort in the way they situated the furniture. My grandfather became good friends with the staff there, and everyone was willing and excited to get to know him which was very important. I felt as if the place was extremely well maintained and structurally beautiful. The experiences I had there were primarily wonderful, and I know my grandfather appreciated the experience.
