We settled on Lafayette Home Care 5. They had 2 caregivers on staff 24 hours a day. The food looked appetizing. The place was very clean. They were very attentive to the residents. There were only 6 residents in the place though. They had activities available, but a lot of the residents preferred not to participate. They could take the person to a doctor?s visit, etc. We were not really there that long because my mom only lasted 7 days there. She passed away mid-October. I do think everything was well cared for; however, the children or the associated spouse with that person should be there on a regular basis just to make sure that they get the attention that they need. I think that goes with any medical organization anyway.
