Jonathan toured me around Pacifica Senior Living Chino Hills. He was very nice, very knowledgeable, seemed to be thorough, and answered all our questions to the best of his ability. The rooms were nice and it looks like they are starting to remodel. They were studio apartments and one-bedroom, so the size varies. It appeared that there were enough amenities for them. It's an older facility, but they're renovating it. They had a nice patio out back, like a large area with trees and plants that people could go, sit, and visit. It's just not the right place for my sister.

Pacifica Senior Living Chino Hills seemed a lot older than the other place we visited. Everybody was friendly, but it wasn't the right fit for my mother-in-law. The rooms were nice, and they were remodeling the one that we looked at. The rooms were great; that wasn't a problem at all. It seemed very well maintained inside and outside. It was very welcoming. I just don't think it was the right fit for her. The staff who gave the tour was nice. She was great and got us in there right away. The tour wasn't as extensive as the one at the other place though. We didn't try any of the food. The dining area seemed more cafeteria-style. It just wasn't as welcoming as the other place. They had a little area where you could go sit outside. They had a calendar with activities on there, but when we were there, it was very quiet. There were just a couple of people sitting in their wheelchairs in the lobby. It was kind of depressing, to be honest.

Our tour experience at Pacifica Senior Living Chino Hills was excellent -- even stellar. They have everything; they have full assisted living. They have a caring, constant staff, better food than I've seen in any other place, and a better environment. It's clean, it's new, and everything's fresh and bright.

Staff are very friendly, professional and caring. This is very important to our family as he is very elderly, 91 years old. They are very prompt about letting us know supplies that he needs. We are very happy with the facility and highly recommend it.

My mother loves the staff. She enjoys playing the trivia games, crossword puzzles and meeting new neighbors. My mom is a diabetic and this is the only place that she could go to. The menu is the same for everyone, so she has to be careful of what she eats.

Pacifica Senior Living Chino Hills was very nice and clean. They were friendly. Everybody who worked there was giving greetings and the lady who was giving me a walk around seemed very well versed, informative, and willing to be helpful. The rooms were clean and neat. Anybody would be comfortable there. They have different-sized rooms, but I was just looking at studios. I wasn't really interested in a room share kind of thing, although I looked at that a little bit. The staff showed me a room where some people might gather for a movie or games. They had a nice dining room.

The care was exceptional for my mother. We are now moving my Dad in 4 years later. The staff really know how to care and treat the residents with respect and dignity. Great place for loved one with dementia.

Pacifica Senior Living Chino Hills did not impress me at all. First of all, the parking lot is in a gas station's parking lot. When you walk in it's nice, but there was absolutely nobody there in the lobby to greet you. What they're saying that really bothered me was that they didn't have much as far as activities. One of the residents coming downstairs actually went to get somebody from the office for us since there was no staff there. We walked around and we were shown everything.

My mom has been here 8 years this coming December. When we started this journey I had no idea how to navigate this new world or how we would take on our new roles. I had scheduled visits at 4 different facilities in the area but when I met with the director of Pacifica at that time I just knew intuitively it was the right place and I looked no further. One of the most special things for my mom was the ability to have companion pets. At the time I had no idea that was an option. In fact, they even made special arrangements and allowed her to keep both of her cats with her rather than making her choose one. Needless to say, I just burst into tears knowing that her knew life would still be a happy one. My mom was fiercely independent and had worked full-time until 80 so this transition 2 years later was difficult for her as well as for me. Her physical limitations could have been accommodated at many places but her emotional/psychological needs have also been tended to with exceptional kindness and respect. The staff has always been there for her emotional needs as well as mine. As her needs have changed over the years, Pacifica has been willing and able to accommodate from initially just dispensing medication to now providing care for all of her hygiene and feeding needs. All of this is provided with the same level of compassion as she received on day one. I very much appreciate the staff and residents at Pacifica. They are family to me.

I was invited to a Casino Night event at Pacifica Senior Living Chino Hills. The event was fantastic. The food was great, the facility is phenominal but most of all the people were awesome. The staff truly seems to like their jobs along with the people that they take care of that live there. I work with a lot of elderly people and if the opportunity ever arises for me to be able to suggest a home for someone when they need it, I will be sure to give them Pacifica Senior Living's information.......Job well done!!!

We are beyond lucky, relieved and so thankful we found a place as special as Pacifica for our mom. The entire staff has made our mom feel so special from the minute we walked through the doors. They are amazing, caring and kind and always makes sure mom is well taken care of. I am beyond happy to say that mom loves being at Pacifica, she feels safe and cared for, loves the food, has bonded with so many individuals and has a lot fun. Her apartment is really nice, she has a nice size bedroom and living room, bathroom, a kitchenette and she was able to decorate it with all her special things. I am happy to say that mom does call this her home. Thank you Pacifica!!

Pacifica employees have been cheerful and helpful. Dad keeps saying that we found him such a nice new home. What a relief that they take care of getting and giving all his medicines. It is an elegant but homey atmosphere where i, as a daughter enjoy going. He enjoys his private apartment and gets help when he pushes his button. He had a cold lately and felt taken care of by the med techs. Thanks Pacifica!

The facility is always clean and fresh. Food is very good and the chef does a great job with variety and resident input. Staff goes above and beyond in all areas: patient care, family support, questions and concerns. There are many activities offered on a daily basis and staff does a good job to encourage the residents to participate. Lots of activities to involve families as well. Love that they go to Pechanga Casino. Rooms are nice with a large bathroom and "kitchen area" with sink, microwave and refrigerator. There is a beautiful patio for the residents to sit and enjoy with family and the gardens are well kept and pretty.

Promises, promises, and promises. My mother was there approximately 1 year at this facility. Too MANY promises were made to us when we toured the facility with Stacie. 1. We do weekly laundry. No you don't. Her comfortable was never washed as I found out 4 months after. 2. Daily activities always: Really? Every time we went to Legacies, they were ALWAYS watching TV. 3. At least 3-4 caregivers working per shift. Not really, cause most Sunday's there's was only 1 or 2 working at the time. Sometimes the med tech was there alone. I also didn't like the fact that all the "DIRECTORS" of the facility only work Monday to Friday. Someone of the "DIRECTORS" should be during the weekends as there were too many residents fighting and yelling and 1 caregiver (the med tech) was unable to handle it. Hopefully, by now you guys have fixed the leaky water hose valve that leaked for over 6 months by sidewalk near the trash binders. On the positive side, there were at least 5 caregivers out the 12 in Legacies, that really care and went up and beyond in making sure the residents were well taken care of. The others were there simply collecting a paycheck.

My Father was in Pacifica Senior Living Chino Hills, It was the most kind, caring, thoughtful, loving environment. From the very first phone call, they were so helpful and made us feel they cared. They made an uncomfortable feeling of putting someone in a home to a wonderful one, for my father and our family

Pacifica Senior Living Chino Hills is a very nice community, but it feels a bit tight, and we wanted something a little bit larger in the way of rooms and stuff like that if we're going to be there. That was the only downfall. Otherwise, they have very pleasant people, and they have very nice facilities overall. The 1-bedroom apartment was just too small, and they need to have larger 2-bedrooms if they expect couples to go there. It's wonderful and great for one person, but for 2 people, there's just not enough room.

We went to Pacifica (Pacifica Senior Living Chino Hills) in Chino. I really like the place. The only issue with this is that my in-laws would have been on the second floor, and the elevator was pretty far from their room. Other than that, the meals are included, there’s doctor’s appointments, and they have an onsite doctor. I felt like they had a good list of activities like going shopping, hobby lobby, and the casino. We were really happy with this place, but the only drawback was the distance from the room to the elevator. That’s the only drawback; otherwise, the place is great.

Pacifica seemed nice and the right fit. It's close to my home and just seemed like a clean and nice place. I only met the person who gave the tour, and she seemed knowledgeable and was able to provide the information that we're looking for.

Pacifica Senior Living was my favorite. The staff was very knowledgeable, friendly, and followed up, but I just can’t afford it. They had a very nice companion room, which is kind of a shared room with a wall in-between the two beds.

Pacifica Senior Living Chino Hills was nice. The staff was great, very knowledgeable, very accommodating, and answered all of my questions. They had a whole calendar of events. They even had menus for the different restaurants and the food that they offer. They do bingo, trips out to casinos, and different classes that you could take. They actually let us go into a couple of different residents' places, and the residents were really nice. They allowed us to look around, and it was very nice. The staff knew all of the details, and for every question we asked, she had the answer. That was really good.

At Pacifica Senior Living Chino Hills, the staff was really friendly. But I wasn’t as impressed with the memory care unit. It seemed dark and isolated and it didn’t smell good. I didn’t like the rooms. They have people sharing a one-bedroom apartment that didn’t live together. It was like unrelated family members splitting a one-bedroom apartment where one person got a bedroom and another person got the living room and then they shared the bathroom. They showed me the activities and they seemed pretty comparable to the other facility as far as what they offered. When I got there, it just happened to be lunchtime. Most of the people were eating so no one was involved in any activities, so I couldn’t see them in action. The dining room was depressing.

My dad is in Pacifica Senior Living Chino Hills. It is very clean. The staff is very friendly and very accommodating, and when my dad moved in, they made sure he felt comfortable. We are very happy with the facilities themselves and with the activities, too. They have three meals a day and take very good care of him, so we are very happy with what we have. I think the accommodations are perfect, and the staff goes above and beyond in making sure that my dad feels comfortable and a part of the community.

We visited Pacifica for my parents. I met lot of the staff who were caring, young girls. It’s a very nice, clean, and tidy community. While I was there, they had two housekeepers who were vacuuming early in the morning. They were cleaning the floors before everybody was basically up and moving around. The activity director is an outstanding woman. She was putting up all of the activities on the bulletin board, which looked very nice. The food was very good. The rooms were a little small but nice and clean and smelled fresh.

My mom is living at Pacifica Chino Hills, and the community is very nice. It's very well furnished, and it doesn’t have odor or smell like most senior communities do. It's just very pleasant for the family to visit. We like the staff. My mother does not like the food there, and that is about the (only) complaint we have. But other than that, it is fine. Her apartment is very spacious. It's a one-bedroom with a large bath and a small kitchenette. The living room is large, which is good because she is in a wheelchair. They have a lot of activities, but my mother-in-law is blind, so she can't participate in a lot, but they try to accommodate her and make larger bingo cards for her so she could play bingo. They give us a calendar with all the activities, like holiday events. They include the family.

Overall, I would rate Pacifica Chino Hills a four. The staff seemed very helpful. I thought the rooms were spacious and nice. The dining room was clean, nice, spacious, and organized. I liked that they were a smaller community.

We've also visited Pacifica for my mother-in-law. The staff seemed fine. The place and the dining room were nice and bright. The exercise room though was very small. I don't remember much about the rooms, and overall, the whole place did not leave any impression on me.
