The Corona Crest Assisted Living assisted living facility was recommended by a friend in the region as an option for our aunt. We could see that the property had plenty of park-like space with large trees and nicely manicured lawns. It is a nice community with a home-style atmosphere. Residents there looked like they were enjoying themselves. The pretty backyard featured many places for seniors to enjoy around the grounds safely. As we walked through the building, the interior design was nicely ordered and easy to navigate. Each room had nice views with a calming, yet contemporary and still homey décor, featuring lots of fresh air and light. The main dining room looked comfortable and was spacious. The residents are offered healthy, home-style cooked meals in a casual restaurant setting. They also have formal dining rooms for special events, Sunday dinners and other activities. The food looked and smelled delicious, as well as healthily prepared. The menus included many interesting dishes, as well as the usual American fare. Snacks are offered regularly throughout the day and whenever residents desire them. The private rooms were decorated tastefully with a homey, light and airy atmosphere. Each unit has nice views of the surrounding area. Bathrooms were designed with safety seats and rails. The exercise center includes daily yoga and aerobics exercise classes. The equipment is available throughout the day. Residents can also safely navigate the lovely garden pathways and courtyards. The many activities include an extensive calendar of events with many stimulating and fun ways to exercise like nature walks and gatherings around the area such as fairs, festivals and other local fare. The residents all looked very well taken care of by and seemed content with the kind and caring staff. It is clear that the seniors were enjoying this stimulating and peaceful living environment.
