Owner is a nurse with decades of experience and the staff are very nice and friendly. I recommend this place as they cook fresh meals for almost every meal, and show they put a lot of care into taking care of residents. Owner: RN with experience in Oncology and Telemetry. Staff: Well-trained in both cleaning and cooking and keeping residents stimulated. The process of placing my parents here was very easy, and was able to visit for as many times as I wanted. I would highly recommend Pine Grove RCFE for those looking to place their loved ones in a home. This is not a facility that your loved ones will be forgotten about and only put in front a TV.

The owner is rarely there. Her mother “mama mia” is the main care giver. She Yells at the residents and calls them “lazy.” The other people who work there follow mama mia’s behavior towards the residents. She Humiliates the residents in front of the other residents! She also handles them very roughly physically. Meals do not include fresh fruit, vegetables or salads. Snacks consist of cheap candy or cheap off brand cookies. I would never leave a loved one there again with this knowledge! I gave it two stars because the house is clean.

Our experience with Pine Grove Residential Home Care for the Elderly has been pretty positive, and it's been pretty smooth. I felt like the home is very clean and calm. The owner is a registered nurse for 20 years in Cardiology and Oncology. She is very knowledgeable. The home is setup where you can take your walker into the shower, and then there would be a shower chair. The facility is equipped for accommodating elderly people. It is a care home in a really nice neighborhood, so it is really pretty. I looked up the licensing board, and I've read the last four licensing reports. There was nothing super negative. The corrections were minor. It's a home, so they have six residents there. It's not like these other big corporate assisted living where they invite you for lunch.
