My overall impression of Regency Place Assisted Living was that it was clean. It's a gated community, which is what we needed. We toured the cafeteria and it also looked clean, and we were able to talk to the food service staff. We liked that we didn't see clients just be sitting in their wheelchairs and not engaging. They have patios and places to sit outside and have lunch if the residents want to. We saw the independent living units because they didn't have anything available in the assisted living level at that time. Their rooms are like studios instead of apartments with separate bedrooms.

I moved my Mom to Regency three days before the fire in the dementia unit. At 3 am, my Mom was moved to a hospital the to another care facility clear on the other side of Roseville where she died on Dec. 17, 2016. I asked for her money back for her brand new bed that was destroyed but they refused saying that I needed fire insurance... heartless company.

We really liked Regency Place; it’s a very nice place. We met a very nice lady named Patricia. We were invited for lunch, so we ate there, and it was better than we expected. We saw a couple of rooms; they’re clean, not very big, but we’ll work with what we are given. They’re pretty organized with their activities, have a coordinator, and arrange these activities to the residents' needs.

Regency Place had a different setup. There were smaller buildings like cottages, and they would have maybe a dozen or 15 residents in a cottage. It had more of an intimate setting -- more of a house type of feel. They were clean and neat. The staff were very helpful and very nice. They had a lot of things -- especially for dementia care. It just didn't quite suit us.

I believe all the facilities we visited in Sacramento is good, but when we visited Regency Place Assisted Living, we found it to be excellent. It is very nice. It is as nice as it was 25 years ago. My in-laws were there 25 years ago, so it is the first facility we visited. The only thing preventing us to go is that they did not have a 1-bedroom available. They only have a studio type open. The staff is very good, nice, kind, and very informative. They have activities going on like tours. Everything was excellent.

My mother has been at the Regency Place twice. I am taking her there for respite. They are very caring, very thorough, and very detail oriented with my mother. My mother doesn't need a lot of care, but the things that she does need they take care of. She enjoys all the activities they have; she enjoys the food; and, of course, it is a big thing. She is a hundred years old, and their activities are enough for her. They play Bingo, and she likes being able to attend the church service that they have on Sundays. They do sing-a-longs, and then they have entertainment that comes in. They have a lot of other activities that she doesn't participate in. She was there for four days one time, and this time she is there for another four days when we go out of town. Mary, who is the marketing coordinator, is wonderful. The first time my mom came to stay there, she rearranged her schedule and came in because she was going to be off on the day mom came. So, I would be comfortable leaving her because mom knew her and Mary knew her. I went to three places and I selected this place mainly because of Mary. She was just so accommodating and nice; she is just very sweet.

We're very pleased with Regency Place. It's my aunt's basic assisted living facility and they have nice amenities. The staff is really nice. They do her laundry, they come in and check on her, and they'll come get her for her meals; they provide three meals a day. They also have a bunch of activities. It's a very clean place, and I would definitely recommend it.

My mom is in Regency Place. The staff is very friendly and nice. They are caring for her. The facility is very clean. The food is good, and they give them lots of it, so she has no complaints about that. The rooms could be bigger. They have lots of activities, and she loves them. My mom is happy; she just doesn't like the price, and there's nothing we can do about the price. Our main concern is the point system in the assisted living portion. I am not in agreement on how they score the points on how much extra they're going to charge you, and neither is my mom. They put down a lot of things in case you can't do much, but she shows them that she can do those things. Now, it's taking two months before they re-adjust the figures. However, they did adjust some of them, but I think they should have adjusted more, adapting to how she is and that place being a business trying to make a profit too. It is what it is.

The care in this home is really great. Many of the care givers have been there more than 5 years. The building is older but that is not what matters the most. It's the care and Regency provides top notch care. The building is clean and neat and the food is wonderful.
