We explored Bixby Knolls Towers as part of our options for my parents. Based on my family’s experiences I would like to express my personal gratitude for the effort this facility and team have contributed. We recently had the pleasure to tour the facility back in the month of March 2022. The moment we walked into the building, it was such a warm welcoming. The receptionist introduced herself with professionalism and acknowledging each and everyone. Residents in the building kindly introduced themselves as well. The facility is an immaculately maintained place. During my tour, Salvador the Marketing Sales Assistant guided my family and I throughout the facility. Options of different units were revealed. The place itself is great. As we continued our tour we noticed in the dining area residents sat together and communicated, which is something that really caught our attention. The patio is sustainable with the eco friendly outdoor patio and garden. My family and I were so impressed by the facility. As I search for the right place for my parents I must interview many other locations before I set my mind for the perfect place. Bixby Knolls Towers was on the top of my list. If you are searching for a place for your loved ones that will give you a peace of mind, Bixby Knolls Towers may be the place for you to explore. I want to thank Salvador for taking the time to show us around. After many pleasant and informative calls to Salvador, Marketing Director Assistant, we kept in contact throughout the many questions I had regarding the facility. In the beginning we mentioned to him we are exploring other facility’s. Salvador was very understanding of our exploration. He wished us well in finding the right place for my parents. We absolutely can not have been happier with the experience at Bixby Knolls Towers. The customer service has been an outstanding experience. We found Bixby Knolls Towers for my aunt. We chose it for the location, the facility, and the money amount was good. They have very nice-sized rooms. They have an outdoor facility, they have a gym, and they have a beauty salon. They have a common area, and they also have common areas on each floor. The staff was very nice, very friendly. They all knew everybody. The people there seemed very happy, and we were able to speak to a resident there who said she enjoyed it, and that our aunt would enjoy it, too. So it was, you know, a very nice recommendation.

Bixby Knolls Towers was nice, but it was too crowded and congested. These are huge towers and a high-rise. It was very nice and clean, but they raise the prices every year, and I don’t like that. I liked that it was very clean and spacious. The staff only showed me a room, and it had a kitchenette, so I was kind of confused if meals were included or not. But I liked how clean it was and how close it was to my house.

I like Bixby Knolls Tower very much. The food is good, and the dining room is really pleasant to eat in. The big lobby area entrance is such a nice feel when you walk in. All the residents are happy; everybody knows each other. There are 160 residents. There is a shuttle that takes them to go shopping and trips.

I found Bixby Knoll Towers for dad which was wonderful; he never liked a place with a lot of people. He started there in August, and he made it through till after the holidays. My perception was that it was very good. I really liked the people who managed it. They had a lot of little activities for him, but he felt very out-of-place; it wasn’t their fault. The lady who was in charge there spent a lot of time in his room, just listening to him talk about how much he missed my mother. They really tried to make him feel at home, but he never did. It was very clean; the food was wonderful. The people were very nice, and the service was very good. For him, it was not a good match, but if it was for another person who was more sociable and more amenable to living in an apartment, I would give it a 5.

I have found a place. It is called Bixby Knolls Towers Retirement. I'm not living there yet, and I have just been over there a few times getting acquainted. It is an extremely friendly place. I chose this place because I like it better. It is very nice. Everybody seems very friendly. Everybody that I saw, met and talked to were great. Everybody that lives there seemed to love it. It just seems the place to go. The price was much more affordable than most of the places I had seen that had the same amenities. I have already committed myself, and I'm renting an apartment there. It is a two-bedroom two-bath apartment with a small kitchen. The rooms are quite spacious for that kind of place. They provide free meals. The food is excellent. I had lunch there, and it was very good. They also have tours and visits to museums for activities.

My grandmother loves it at Bixby Knolls Towers Retirement. It gives her the ability to be social, and at the same time, they take care for her needs. Her apartment has a kitchenette but the facility also offers three meals a day. My grandma is pretty picky but she seems to enjoy the food. She thinks they have prime rib dinners on Sunday night. They have a nice breakfast buffet too. She can go up and bring it herself or they can bring it up to her. Bixby has maid and laundry services too. They're also very connected with us as her family. My grandmother is prone to falling so if something happens, they call us. All of her needs are well taken care of, and that's the most important aspect for us. We had to pay for extra but everything is available. I absolutely recommend this place to others.
