My father likes Westminster Villa (Formerly Gold Crest Retirement Center). It's good, and it's close by where he used to live. The atmosphere is very good. There's nothing to be of concern. The staff is very friendly and they're able to address any question I have. His room is very decent sized for the price, it's not too small, and they clean it every day. The location is really good. It's close to the supermarket and fast-food places. It has a mix of residents, Asians, Caucasians and a small percentage of Latinos. The area is close by the freeway, so it's very convenient for the families. When I speak to the staff, it's mostly in Vietnamese or English, but they have Filipino and Latino staff also. They have an area where they have a big television, which is almost like a mini theater.

My dad was in Gold Crest for a month. The service level is poor, and my dad doesn’t like the food. They do have activities. I didn’t see any kind of security; you can basically go in and out, and you’re free to walk and come back when you’re going to come back.
