My mother found a home at Sunrise of Beverly Hills Senior Living and my family found peace of mind. During these difficult times dealing with the Corona virus we were concerned primarily with my mother’s safety. Sunrise addressed our concerns about the virus by enacting clear policies to keep residents and staff healthy, maintaining exacting cleanliness of the entire facility, and providing compassion during the times when visiting was impossible.
In addition to issues surrounding the virus, my mother had become prone to falling and was also battling a mild mental illness.
The highly capable staff at Sunrise summoned a team of medical doctors, psychologists and neurologists to diagnose and treat my mother’s specific issues. Each member of the Sunrise of Beverly Hills staff treated my mother with patience and loving respect as we navigated her transition to senior living.
As with many aging people, my mother was reluctant to leave the independent life she was accustomed to living. The entire staff worked to ease this transition for her.
Sunrise of Beverly Hills Senior Living has provided my mother and my family the solution we needed to give my mother the best care for this period of her life.

My mom and I visited the top facilities on the west side, and Sunrise came out on top. We are both very happy with Sunrise, and they take great care of their residents. After being there for years, we still would not consider moving.

I liked the location of Sunrise of Beverly Hills and that the studio apartments had a little kitchenette and a sink. The bedroom flowed into the living room, which was big enough to have a guest over and to fit a TV. The food was very good.

Sunrise of Beverly Hills a year ago. It was very beautiful, but at the time that I went, there seemed to be a lot of people with Alzheimer's, and they did not have the activities I was interested in. The dining area was very nice, but I did not eat there. The rooms were small, and I don’t like that. There was not enough closet space. The grounds were very congested. There was no greenery or garden. It was right down the street, but it was a good location for people who liked city life

Sunrise is excellent. The room, and accommodations were top-notch. The amenities were all very good. However, it was extremely expensive.

As far as I can tell, Sunrise of Beverly Hills is a very nice place. The people seem to be young and enthusiastic. I think it is expensive, but you get what you pay for. I think the people that work there are educated and trained. They seem to know what they are talking about. They seem to be going to college and studying seniors. They are not just somebody that they just picked up at a trade school. I will recommend them. It is extremely clean and well maintained, and people are allowed to have pets. It looks like a very lovely place. They understand seniors' needs. They are ADA compliant -- which is really important.

Some of my mother's belongings were stolen at Sunrise of Beverly Hills. A lot of the staff were very sneaky. She complained that they were coming into her room a lot unnecessarily. I found several pieces of jewelry and clothing stolen. The only good thing I can say about it is that she had a decent size room. I had to stay on top of the cleaning staff. The food was excellent. Their outings were fair, but she wasn't thrilled. They were treating her as if she could not remember. They tried to make her think that she was crazy, and they would deny it when she said they had stolen her things. My mother had several encounters with the staff.

My first impression of Sunrise was very good and very positive. It was very clean and upscale. The staff was very competent. The people seemed to be active and very happy. They were busy and there were a lot of activities. The rooms were very nice, of nice size and with bathrooms.

Let me just start off by saying wow! Sunrise is buy far the most luxurious and decadent assisted living facilities that I have ever seen. That being said its also located in Beverly Hills. This place definitely screams upper class retirement home. This multimillion dollar facility is absolutely gorgeous. It almost like the Bellagio hotel in Las Vegas. Aesthetics aside the staff is one of the best that I've ever seen. They're there when you need them and completely out of sight when you don't. All of the low level staffers (nurses and orderlys) seem very well educated and very professional. I spoke to a few of the current residents, none of which had anything bad to say at all. Not to mention that there is a team of doctors on the grounds at all times. One of the aspects that I thought was pretty cool were the daily chef prepared gourmet meals. I have never seen a more awesome senior living facility. On the other hand this place is also located in Beverly Hills.

We brought Mom here about a year ago and so far so good. She's got a variety of health issues, and has steadily been declining. Thankfully, she's a got a great spirit that is supported by the wonderful aura the staff provides. The staff here are really one a kind, and we're so grateful to have them. They've given Mom a much needed boost, and our family (and me) are very grateful. My only complaint is the price! But after all, it is Beverly Hills, and the facilities are, for the most part, top of the line. I say "for the most part" because Mom has a tough time getting around because of where she is and where everything is spaced. But all in all, if she's happy, we're happy, and the staff certainly go above and beyond to provide. I would definitely recommend for a loved one or friend in your life.
