As a resident of two years, and a highly educated person, I am fully disappointed in how this administration is as phoney as I have ever experienced. I also find them wholly unqualified to deal with residents, problems, outcomes. There is no follow through or any explanations as to why not. The lack of conscious thinking or acting is appalling. This is no place I would ever send a loved one.

I went to Palm Retirement Center. The only problem is that I didn't have an opportunity to view inside. I just got as far as the lobby because they have a Covid outbreak at the time, and they couldn't allow a full tour. I went to the facility to just look at it from the outside and speak to the manager who was in the lobby. They're helpful with information. However, I think they could have been a little more professional. I have a hard time getting through when I call with questions or getting a call back. They either didn't call me back or I couldn't get through. I wasn't very impressed by their customer service. The outside was decent and very nice. It was well kept landscape-wise. The lobby could have a little more care, be a little more organized, and could have been a little cleaner. The outside was nice, but the lobby was mediocre.

Palm Retirement Center is a really good facility for the price. It's on the lower end of cost and it's in a really good area, but the menu and the food are not up to standards. Other than that, it meets all the other requirements based on the dollar amount that they charge. They need to step up a little when it comes to food. They have some activities. The dining room is not upscale, but it is doable for the situation. You can make the bedroom as homey as you want. We decorated my mother's room with curtains and bedding.

I have my father in an assisted living called Palm Retirement Center. They have bingo nights, movie nights, and karaoke. The room is perfect. It is a shared room, but my father has his own bed, his own dresser, and his own side of his closet. It has a private bathroom that he shares with a roommate. The biggest thing for us is that we have met with the roommate before he moved in. The place is very quiet and is part of a residential. We really like that because of that. They actually put in a brand new airconditioner for my father before he moved in. The place is older but it is maintained.
