My sister-in-law is in Marilin ALF, and it is super good. It is a very small, single family home. It only has six residents in total. Two CNAs are there 24/7, and they take excellent care of the patients. What attracted me the most was the cleanliness of the place and the full attention that everybody gets all the way around: health wise, mentally, and activities. It has been very good so far. The residents have their own private rooms. They have a beautician that comes in. They had entertainment that came in on Saturday for an hour. They have homecooked meals every day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The place is immaculate, has great lighting, and is very, very clean. Beds are made for them. Everything's on point. They're showered every day. It's like being home. They do the basics, like magazines and puzzles. Some of them are not completely mentally all there, so it's hard for them to do other stuff. From what I see, they keep them entertained as much as possible during the day. They try to reinforce the importance of staying as a group and not in their rooms by themselves. They try to congregate them in a place and keep them busy.
