Lovely facility in a convenient location to lots of things to do. The apartments are clean and smell good. I love the little store where residents can buy enough groceries if they need to. There is a bus that takes you to other places as well. I really liked it. The staff is really friendly.

Homecrest had three buildings. It was older but was well kept and clean, and had a waiting list. They had gardens, well-kept grounds, easy access ramps, pathways, hairdresser, and a post office on the premises. The people seemed pretty good.

We visited Homecrest. The staff was accommodating and helpful. The dining room was nice and clean. The food was good. They had a room for physical therapy, a library, and an activities room. There was a bus service that took the residents shopping and to various places. I liked the price, and the fact that they had a meal program for the residents.

We were most impressed with Homecrest. The apartments were very nice, and they serve four dinner meals a week. They had exercise rooms and a library.

I visited Homecrest House. I thought everything was nice. The room was small though. It has a small bedroom, a small kitchen area, a bath, a small living room, and I think a little storage area. There was not a whole lot of room to move around. I didn't care for that part. However, the facility itself, the food, and all the services available were excellent. The rooms weren't spacious, but they were spotless. They have trips because they have the ability to take patients to doctors' certain visits. They have a cosmetology place and a barber shop for men. They have like a whirlpool spa thing and an activity room. They can do wellness exercises too. Also they have painting, and they have trips to grocery stores and to shopping malls. They just need to improve on having larger apartments for the residents.

We were able to visit Homecrest House. The nice thing about them is that they do take people who are under 62 given they are on disability. They have activities, but I didn’t stay there long enough to notice them.

I visited Homecrest House for my mom and it seemed to be very organized facility. It was perfectly clean and seemed functional. However, the day that I was there, people were just sitting in their wheelchairs doing nothing. My mother is still functional and she only has problem with her memory, so when I saw a whole bunch of people looking as if they were sitting there and waiting to die, for me that was really very depressing. We were there during the holiday time, so maybe their staff was off with their families, but I really felt that that place wasn't going to be right at this time. I really think that my mom will become a little more active on herself because she will be around other people but the residents that I saw there were just sitting vegetating.

I'm moving my mom to Homecrest House. It's very well-managed and a very safe place. They provide very minimal assistance. It's mostly for independent residents. They provide meals and activities on weekdays. They also provide shuttle service on a schedule. They also have a medication program for those people who can't really get their own prescription.
