My grandmother was placed and Angels among us assisted living three years ago Angels Among Us is a great place to place your loved one. Always something cooking. It always smells good. They do everything! Help with showers, incontinence, ambulating, laundry and eating. They order and give the medications. A visiting Dr and nurse and podiatrist comes regularly. The meals look delicious and smell very good.
They have parties for holidays and birthdays. they have a porch on both levels with seating for whomever wants to go outside, They play games that encourage movement but also have a PT who comes into motivate healthy movement and exercise. and even though it is suggested, every resident has their rights and can choose not to participate, It is a very homelike environment. before Covid-19 they had things like Karoke Kathy and Piano Stan come as entertainment, It Does not feel institutionalized. It is clean and orderly and the staff are always nice and co operative.

Terrible place to put your family members it’s literally 3 hots and a cot nothing more nothing less the residents don’t go out they stay in the house all day the only time a resident might go out is for a doctors appointment the mattresses are stained and smells of urine they rarely have the residents doing anything fun for almost 2700 dollars I’d at least want my family member to still have some type of excitement bad enough they feel bad because they have become dependable on other now they are stuck in a dark house with nothing to do but watch tv I’d look further this is not a place to spend the rest of your life the rooms are very small and again for almost 2700 dollars A MONTH I’d want to be able to move around in my room AND ALSO HAVE A TV IN MY ROOM

We didn't care for Angels Among Us at all. Two people wouldn't even fit in the hallway. However, the people were all pleasant, nice, and answered all our questions, and the residents seemed happy there. They had the men on the first floor and the women on the second floor, and the living room was open and airy with the sunlight coming in, but the rest of the place seemed darker. The rooms were adequate, but there was not much space to put your stuff in.
