College Manor was a beautiful facility. There were some very beautiful furniture. I thought it was a really large place. It just didn't seem to be as well kept as some of the other ones we looked at. The staff seemed OK.

The tour experience at College Manor was good. The staff was very good. We saw people playing games, bingo, and all kinds of stuff. The rooms were nice and clean. It was an older community.

LOVE College Manor! FAMILY makes all the difference; College Manor has always been family owned and operated, for 4 generations, and everyone who lives, works, or visits is treated like family. We moved our father there from another AL, and we are all sooo much happier. The grounds are beautiful, the activities are varied and available every day, the holiday decorations and parties rival anyone’s. The meals are excellent and mealtimes are as enjoyable as visiting any family style restaurant. Even during the height of the Covid pandemic, this staff bent over backwards to provide as much comfort, contact, and “normalcy” as they could for the residents while meticulously following safety procedures. It is truly a loving and caring place to live and visit.

The staff makes the difference! They are friendly and caring. The residents can go outside and enjoy the landscaped grounds. The inside seems purposefully designed to portrait it to be like a family home. They make you feel welcomed by friendly servers bringing home cooked meals to your dining table. They offer an event calendar each month so you can choose what you enjoy. It's a place you feel safe.

I am moving to College Manor. It is a nice place, and the price is lower. They have bingo and exercise with a private trainer. It's very big and looks like a castle on the outside. The rooms are bigger.

Finding College Manor turned a bad situation into a perfect solution. During a recent hospital stay, the doctor told my mother she could no longer live independently, Needless to say she was devastated by that news, In addition, I was moving out of town. When touring the facility we met many members of the staff, all of whom were very pleasant and were eager to answer our questions. College Manor offers many activities, both in and out of the facility. They have many amenities available also. After our tour we were invited to have lunch with the residents in the dining room. After a delicious lunch and seeing the room that would be assigned to my mom and much discussion, it was decided that my mom would move in. I was able to move with peace of mind knowing that my mother would be in a very safe place and would be well cared for.

From the moment I walked in the door I felt this was the place for Mom. I was greeted by the Receptionist immediately. A few residents were nearby and were discussing their morning. A staff member walked by, stopped to talk to the residents and also greet me. I could feel the warmth and knew then my Mom would be well taken care of.

I cannot express enough thankfulness that we were able to have our 92 year father at College Manor in his last years. The staff have truly created a HOME environment for their residents. Instead of feeling like you are in building with endless corridors of doors you feel like you are at home with you own bedroom and bathroom but a family setting for living room, family room, rec and TV rooms, and plenty of activities to keep the resident happy. We were in weekly communication with the Administrator and felt like I knew everyone of the staff personally and knew that they had a genuine interest and love for the residents they serve. The head nurse was always on top of necessary medications and refills and residents health needs. The meals are home cooked everyday and delicious. They would have field trips and weekly Going Out for Lunch adventures. Like I said I just can't say enough but better yet go see for yourself and you will know.

I toured College Manor a few times recently. I have found it neat and clean, with life at its best. Residents are living with high esteem and honor. Quality of life being offered by the organizers is of a high standard. Activities have been thoroughly planned to offer all residents an opportunity to generate a healthy spirit and an atmosphere of love and care. Staff employed on duty has always been forthcoming to look after the needs of residents and providing them every facility they desire. Persons are treated as family members and they really enjoy the relationship of trust. I have talked to the residents who all very extremely happy. They shared their thoughts and experience of living here and were satisfied. Diet schedule is very balanced and nutritious. Overall, I would rate this facility very high and recommend it.

College Manor is a very good assisted living facility. They offer several different services for varying needs of assisted living. My grandmother lived in College Manor for a couple of years. It provides a lot of activities for its residents and encourages the residents to become social. They do this by bringing in outside entertainment: magicians, bands, etc. By working with the community, it allows the residents to feel less constrained. Their dining room is also a very sociable. It allows the residents to create bonds and friendships. College Manor also has activities that encourage the residents' families to visit. They also have several events for different holidays for families to attend.

College Manor is understaffed and underfunded. Residents who need extra care should make plans to hire additional help.
