I toured Lighthouse Senior Living at Hopkins Creek. It was spacious. They only offered me a studio apartment, which isn't big enough. The facility looked excellent, and the staff was very informative. They had different types of rooms to offer, but the only one she showed me was a studio. In terms of activities, some people were playing cards. Some people were in the TV room watching TV. They had fruit and snacks available 24 hours a day. The place was very clean. They have a small courtyard. Their exercise equipment is limited. It's not really in a room-room; it's like in the hallway. I didn't try any of the meals. They have a restaurant-style dining area where you sit down, and they'll take your order, and they'll bring it to you.

The staff members at Lighthouse Senior Living at Hopkins Creek were all friendly and courteous. The nurse took me around on the tour. She was very nice and helpful and gave me a lot of information. We saw some empty rooms, and we also saw the facility, and that's about it. The size of the room was fine. It was a nice studio. The grounds were very nice and well-kept. The dining area was big and spacious. They had a side room where you could have a private family gathering. They had a hairstylist that comes and cuts and shampoos their hair. I think they do laundry service once a week. They had a rec room and they had special events for Christmas. What impressed me most was the friendliness and the courteousness of the staff. They seemed to know the residents by name and they were interacting with the residents.

We looked at Lighthouse Senior Living at Hopkins Creek. We liked it, it's just the price was a little high. Also, it was more assisted living than independent care. Looking at what they offer, my father doesn't need assisted living. The bedrooms were nice and big. I liked where they had the living room and bedrooms, that was nice, too. However, you couldn't do any cooking yourself, and we didn't like that. They had a salon, they had a dining hall, they had big bathrooms with a shower, and they had activities. However, I think I would get lost in that place.

We're very satisfied with mom's care at the Lighthouse Senior Living at Hopkins Creek. The people are very competent, friendly, and very responsive. It's a two-story complex with plenty of areas to walk outside. She can control her own climate in her room, and it's got a walk-in shower. There's plenty of room and privacy.

Lighthouse Senior Living at Hopkins Creek was nice. We were able to see the seniors at lunch, and they were looking lively and enjoying themselves. We saw the media room and they have a little workout section. I saw one of the apartments and it was a nice living space. They have like a little kitchenette, a refrigerator, a sink, and maybe a microwave. There's no heavy-duty cooking in their apartments. The host was very nice, gracious, and very helpful. They had a courtyard.

I liked Lighthouse Senior Living at Hopkins Creek, I thought it was very nice and pleasant. The marketing director gave me a wonderful tour. It seemed a lot bigger to me than it looked from the outside. I liked that they had a couple of different rooms, different types, and styles of rooms. I like this facility better than the other one I toured, but it's just relative. I thought it has more open spaces in the building itself, and the furnishings were more set up for and conducive for people to gather as a community there, and talk and chat. It's very clean, very excellent and set up better to me than the other place. It's funny because I read their reviews online, and I wasn't as impressed with one of the bad reviews, but I decided to keep an open mind and I like the Lighthouse better. The staff was introduced to me as we went, and a couple of nurses and a couple of other people like the activities director. The activities were listed, there were numerous activities that I could be involved in. It just seemed like it was a more active community.

Lighthouse Senior Living at Hopkins Creek was very clean and had lots of options for the residents. The two staff members I talked to were very kind and friendly. The studio apartment and one-bedroom apartment were good and a nice size. You could furnish them yourself. They have their own bath (that was also a very nice size) and a kitchenette. They provided three meals a day for you, plus snacks with coffee and drinks that you could go and get at any time. The dining area was large and was set up in a way that you could sit by yourself or with other people.
They had a salon. There also was a very small area set up that you could use a recumbent bike and a couple of other exercise equipment. All were sit down equipment for seniors that would have difficulty with the standing position. They have a community room where people can play bingo, too. It looked very modern, very clean, and smelled nice and fresh. They also had people that checked on you, just to see how you were doing for the day.

We toured Lighthouse Senior Living at Hopkins Creek. It was a nice facility, but it was out of my father's price range. The staff was very nice and very helpful. We saw the whole thing, like his room would have been on the second floor. Even though they have stairs, they have elevators, so it would be a safe environment. They have all the amenities. They have a library, they were actually playing games off the lobby, they have a sitting area where people go and play games, and they have a board, like today is Bingo Day. They were taking them somewhere when we were there, like to a farm market or something like that for those who wanted to go. They had a bus that was taking them. They have a microwave and a coffee pot in the rooms. All of them had TVs if you wanted, or you could bring your own TV as well.

Lighthouse Senior Living at Hopkins Creek is a smaller community. We've met the entire staff and it'll give my father the better level of attention that he needs. It appears to be well managed, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and reasonable sized. The staff was knowledgeable, caring, attentive, and attention to detail. They have an activity center, a dining room, a gathering area, an outside area where they can go and relax, and they also can bring in physical therapy.

None of the staff are available on the night shift. They were all in their break room. Waited for 45 minutes to find someone to let me out. Meanwhile a patient was trying to get out to go outside and smoke. Do not like the directing manager at all. Spoke to me like I was trash after that incident.

We chose Lighthouse Senior Living at Hopkins Creek for my mother, and she's moving in a week or so. It's beautiful, the staff was very nice, and they have studios with a full size bathroom, a kitchenette, sink, counter top, and refrigerator. The dining area was very nice and they provide 3 meals a day and snacks.

We went to Lighthouse Senior Living at Hopkins Creek and it was nice. They offer two meals a day, but you move from one room to another if you move from independent to assisted living. The staff member was very informative, she took us to one of the apartments, and we also saw the assisted one, which was much smaller. It was a smaller facility overall compared to others. The independent 1-bedroom apartment was very nice. They have a living room and a small kitchen area, but were not interested in a kitchen area. We saw the menu. They have different food they offer daily, and they also have a standby menu with sandwiches and salad if you did not want anything off the regular menu. They don't offer transportation, but they are right by the bus line, so they offer bus services. I liked that it's close to my house. They have activities everyday like cards, bingo, exercise activities, and a balance class. It's a smaller community, so its probably more personable.

My father moved into Lighthouse Senior Living at Hopkins Creek a month and a half ago. He has a nice room, they have activities every day, they have a doctor and nurse on staff, and its a nice place. They are giving him meds, doing physical therapy, and if he needs them he just pushes a button, and theyre there. He has his own private room, with a walk-in shower that can hold a shower chair, a small kitchen area that has a mini fridge, sink, and cabinets that will hold dishes and cups. He has his own bed, recliner chair, and big TV. He gets 3 meals a day, and they have a snack bar thats open all the time. They have Bingo, music, they go out once a month for a shopping spree to Walmart, and they take them out to lunch or dinner. There are lots of activities there.

Lighthouse Senior Living at Hopkins Creek was very nice. It was a good tour. I had lunch there, and the food was very good. The staff was very nice. I saw a one-bedroom apartment with a large living room, a small kitchen, a bedroom, a bath, and an area for storage. It was a very well-maintained facility.

Lighthouse Senior Living is very nice, very clean, and stylish. My mom enjoys it there. They have bingo, trivia, and entertainment. The dining room is very nice and clean. The food is good. My mom's room is set up like an efficiency apartment where there is a sink, a cabinet, and a small refrigerator. She is also allowed to have a small microwave. She can eat in her room if she wants or in the dining room. They just changed ownership, and this new owner had gotten rid of a lot of the caregivers, but the ones there are very attentive, very nice, and very pleasant.

Lighthouse Senior Living at Hopkins Creek was very nice and very updated. You can even have a small fridge and a microwave in some of the rooms. I wasn't that excited with it because it had an institutional type feel to it. If my mother-in-law would need more care, she would have to find another place to go. The food looked good, and they had a monthly calendar with food choices. If the residents didn't like what was on the menu, they will fix them something else.

We did go to Lighthouse Senior Living. They seemed very nice. The people giving us the tour knew all of the clients and were very friendly with everybody. I didn’t feel like they would give as much care to my mother. It was obvious they’re an older building, but it seemed clean and well kept. The residents appeared to be happy.

I chose Lighthouse at Hopkins Creek for my brother-in-law because it is close to my residence and I am the only living relative that he has. He has been there for three months. The facility is very nice. It is clean. It is fairly new and is only like 7 or 8 years old. It has very nice rooms. The one I got for him is a very large room that has a big closet, a very big bathroom and a sink. He has a nice TV. With regard to food, he doesn't complain about it so it must be nice. They do have activities and they do things almost everyday. They also have entertainment every Friday.
