Woodlands Assisted Living was a very nice facility. It seems like they've had nice rooms, the place was very clean and it looked like they had everything that my friend, which I'm looking for, would need. As far as skilled care, if she ever needed that or the memory care and those kinds of things, it is a very nice facility. I didn't have a problem with them. The staff that I met there was very nice. I like the building, it was very nice and in a rural setting almost, with all the trees. The rooms that were shown to me were very nice, attractive, clean, and well-taken care of. All the residents seemed like they were happy and content, at least the ones I saw. The medical staff seems to be very attentive and all my questions are answered.

My mom is currently at Woodlands Assisted Living and she has caregivers that take care of her every need. They play games, they have a salon, and they play music too. The food and the care are good, as well as the room size and maintenance. They're very caring and very nice people. Her room is considered a double room and they're using it as a single. She has a very big bathroom, a very big closet, lots of room for her furniture and bed, a sunny window, and it's just the right size. It's not too big, and not too small. Due to COVID, we're not allowed in there right now, but I know they play games, music, and they have several social opportunities. They have rooms that families can use at no extra charge with kitchens and things like that if you want to have a party there. So, it's just very nice and she seems to be satisfied.

My father-in-law moved into Woodlands Assisted Living. It's nice, and we don't have any complaints, the staff has been pretty good, and he thinks the food is fine. He's got a nice size room, and it's nice. They have different kinds of events, bingo, and musicians come in.

This place is appeared great when touring it. It seemed to offer all the things we were looking for, for our loved one. That all ended after the first month. I personally have video showing the residents walking into the nurses station, being handed their meds and down the halls they go. The window sill of the day room was lined with the little medicine cups, some still having pills in them. On another occasion I have witnessed a gentleman falling from his wheelchair, yelling for help and not a staff member around. When finding one to aid this gentleman, the staff members placed him on the floor where he laid for the next 20 minutes. During that 20 minutes staff members walked in, looked at him and walked back out, never once speaking with him. Eventually two staff members came in, pulling him up and getting him into his wheelchair. At no time during all of this was the wheelchair locked. As you can guess this made this much more difficult for the staff. Last evening when leaving the place, we come upon a female resident laying in the hallway, wheelchair beside her and bleeding. The nightmare it was just to locate someone was beyond inconceivable. Even after locating multiple staff members, none of them knew where or how to get a hold of "the nurse". Again this as well is on video. I am beyond displeased with this place and hope to move my loved one as soon as possible.

The Woodlands was very nice, tidy, and very clean. But it is not as close and not as comfortable to us as far as getting there. The lady was a little stuffy, my mom said. But as far as the place, it seemed really nice and pretty good in price too. The dining area was fine, and everything seemed really clean. Even their laundry rooms seemed well taken care of. It was a nice place inside and seemed like it was run pretty well. I didn’t like the rooms as much as the other place that my mother would be in. I didn’t like their set up as much, but they had better pricing.

Woodlands Assisted Living was spacious, and the rooms were clean, but I did not see them doing anything with the residents. The residents didn't seem happy because no one was smiling. There were fast-food restaurants around the area, Target, a gasoline station, Chick-fil-A, and McDonald's.

Woodlands Assisted Living was pretty good, and it was one of the larger ones. It was very open and very light. Everybody seemed to work well together. The residents seemed happy as they were getting ready to go on a trip. They said if I ever had problems coming up with what they charge, they may be able to work with me a little bit. It was a really nice place and I wouldn't hesitate to put my mother-in-law in there.

We’ve selected Woodlands Assisted Living. We went to about 15 or 20 different places, and the biggest priority was cost. It’s a clean-looking facility. My ex-wife is the patient there, and we were really concerned with the memory care part of it because she has Stage 2 Alzheimer’s. I know they work with her throughout most of the day, and they take the residents out on some field trips. Compared to all the other places that we saw, it’s five stars. She’s been there about three weeks now, maybe four, and she’s just starting to accept the fact that she’s going to be there. The reason we picked this place is because of the cost, plus it’s only about 15 minutes away from where we live. I talked a little bit to some of the staff, and everybody seemed friendly and professional.

We are just starting to research assisted living for my 94 year old mother. I have to let you know I called on very short notice and was given an almost immediate time. Even though I had been told that they were booked. The manager was great as were all of the employees we spoke with. We were not rushed or given the short tour or a partial explanation of amenities and cost. We are pretty sure this is the place for mom even though we have visited others in the area

Woodlands Assisted Living was great. My mother has been in there, and the staff was great and very knowledgeable. The rooms were very nice. They had a bed, a dresser, and their own bathroom, and they're very bright and shiny. They had all kinds of activities -- sewing, reading, games, and movies. I like best the overall appearance of the place and the way they treat the patients. They were very well dressed and clean.

I called this provider on a Sunday (2/15/2015), hoping to stop by and pick up a brochure. The phone menu provided a contacts name and I left a message requesting she contact me. I then called back and rang the receptionist and no one answered. I called back the following day and received voice mail of two staff members (did not leave a message) and then tried the receptionist again. Again, the phone rang a dozen times without an answer. This experience causes me to question how well they respond to the needs of their residents - I know they didn't respond to my needs.

Woodlands was clean, it didn't smell and everybody in there looked like they were taken care of. They looked like they had enough staff to take care of the people but the rooms were awfully small. The staff was very helpful and nice to the residents.
