Facility is horrible. Food is terrible. Building is is in disarray. Ceiling leaking, mice, ants, dirty floors etc. Care is lackluster and all they care about is money.

I don't usually write reviews but after touring this facility, I absolutely had do. One of the managers named Sheena showed me around the place and she was very caring and had a personal relationship with the residents. I could tell that she truly cares about the residents. Great place!

I was so very pleased with the care my brother received at New Life. I had looked at many other assisted living communities and chose the right one. The staff from the housekeeping staff up to the administration staff was also willing to help and always made the residents feel comfortable and at home. The hood was delicious, the care excellent and all of the residents seemed to always get along. They even have their own movie theater for movie nights which my brother really enjoyed. The staff is always there for their residents but also give the families peace of mind which I needed. I can't say enough on how New Life Healthy Living made a wonderful change in my brother's life. The activities really kept my brother quality of life up and he enjoyed them very much. You really have to see this community and how clean it is also. Good Luck

This is a terrible place to keep your family. They have constant staff turnover. Unlicensed people are handing out meds without knowing what they give. One of them asks me what meds do I take. It gets worse at night. If you think I'm lying go up there for a visit, you will be shocked to see what happens. On the good side it is a large empty building with plenty of room.

My father-in-law was in New Life Healthy Living before, and we were totally dissatisfied with the caring he was given. They promised a lot and delivered very little. It was a little far eastern in decorum, but the place looked nice, and they had a place for meals, so it was not bad there at all. The staff was not trained; they were not able to deal with anybody that would present any kind of a problem. If they had a nurse, it was just right out of school and probably a first job kind of thing, and the administration would say a lot of things but really not deliver any of those things. The medications were mixed up, it wasn't administered probably, and sometimes it was not administered at all, which is serious. It was very distubing. When we found out about the medication not being given to him, we couldn't wait to get him out fast enough. One other thing about the staff: it is constantly changing. Every time we went there, there were different people. They need to improve on training, they need to improve on care for their patients, and they need to improve on the activities because there is none. The food they need to improve on, and there are so many different areas that they need to improve on. But like I said, when medications are misgiven or the wrong doses are given, when they are given at the wrong time or not at all, that is a problem, and it is one that really I don't know how a place like this could operate with.
