look beyond the shiny exterior

The exterior is beautiful and superficially The Waters looks nice. However, if you need any supportive cares, avoid this place.
My father with dementia required assisted living. Nursing and support staff seem overworked and communication is atrocious. My dad had a nearly life threatening medication error made by the staff and I had to report the facility to the state for this and other errors related to poor care.
Financially this place is way more expensive than other locations that provide much better care. Read the lease closely. My dad was required to pay 6 weeks of rent after moving out despite him requiring a higher level of care that the waters couldn't provide. This has created a huge financial burden for our family and the corporate level was unwilling to compromise about this.
Once my dad was settled in a different facility, I realized how awful The Waters is. I would avoid this place.
