My father has moved into Bel Rae Senior Living. It was pretty good. He has a one-bedroom apartment. It is very clean. The staff members were very nice. I have tried the food. It was pretty good. They have activities that look like they're fun for the residents. They have the dining areas with white tablecloths, and they bring the food out like a restaurant would have. It's very clean and had very nice staff. They have an activity center, puzzles, a little library, and have multiple sitting areas. It was actually the first one we looked at, and they had availability immediately, and that's what we were looking for.

We have decided on Bel Rae Senior Living. It was nice. Everything there was nice. The people we interviewed were very nice and it has all the amenities. We're going to be going there probably in about three weeks. They gave us the tour, they're friendly, and they answered all your questions. They're very nice. The layout is nice. It's three floors, they have like two elevators, and the aisles are wide. They have everything there.

My mom has lived there several years! She has made friends and since she is pretty self sufficient she is pretty happy there. Otherwise we would have moved her to another facility. The care she receives in comparison to what she pays is substandard. Since she is able to communicate well by phone and email she informs us of the bad care. Since Covid hit the care is horrible!!

Mom just moved into Bel Rae. It's a newer community, it has a nice atmosphere, and a friendly staff. It has nice rooms. It's a little pricey.

We moved our parents into the memory care section at Bel Rae in May of 2016. It was a beautiful place compared to other places we visited and near us kids making it a convenient option and they had a great sales pitch about their capabilities. Unfortunately, the capabilities did not actually happen. In the 8 months they were there they never saw an actual doctor like they said they would do. Instead, they saw an incompetent nurse practitioner that couldn't treat or communicate the severity of an itchy and painful rash that my dad had over his entire body for over a month. Nor could they adequately care for my mom following a broken hip which resulted a life threatening bowel blockage. I had to literally argue with the NP to get a simple urine test for my mom as she had frequent bladder infections. Aside from the poor medical treatment there were issues with lack of housekeeping, we never received mail that was delivered while they and enter we moved them out. It was just one thing after another with them. Most workers were nice however nice does not equal competent.

I thought the people at Bel Rae Senior Living were friendly, and the place was clean and good. I liked it, but the apartments were too small for the money. To me, the location was isolated, not being near transportation or anything like that.

Bel Rae Senior Living was really fancy and a little out of our price range. We saw the assisted living and the independent living and thought Mom would like this place a lot. The rooms were nice, like little apartments with a kitchenette, a really big bedroom, a bathroom, and a nice, big closet. All of the amenities were really nice. The dining room looked like a fancy restaurant with linen tablecloths and napkins. My husband and I said we want to go live there because it was nicer than our house.
