Beautiful building but the place has terrible management . The Director of nursing does not return messages left by my mother nor myself . Everything is an extra charge

It is a high cost fatality that truthfully is poorly run and when you have a loved one move in it is very hard to relocate them. They make friends there and as a family member you don't want to disrupt them. Truthfully the food is not good the service from maintenance and staff except nursing is not good. The costs keep increasing and the activities become less and service worse. The costs here to the benefit are not in line. Some of the staff are good and seem to care for the people but overall they are a profit organization. Mistakes on billings std always in there favor and pretty constant. If we could move our loved one without the disruption it would cause we would do it in a heartbeat.

I am a daughter to a current, but not for long, resident. The facilities themselves are very nice and there are many things that The Waters offers but it all comes at a very high price. We paid that price for two years but as my mothers condition changed so did the attitude of her being a candidate to stay at The Waters. She now needs more memory care living and even though The Waters has a memory care wing she was not deemed the right candidate for their memory care. We are now being forced to relocate her again and if anyone that has a loved one that has early stage Alzheimer’s knows familiarity and routine are all they may know. We now have to start that journey over with our loved one. Please do your research before settling with The Waters. There are a lot of great places, equally as luxurious, but better equipped to handle more then two levels of seniors needs.

The Waters was one of the high-end places we saw. It basically has apartments instead of rooms, you get a full, functional apartment with a full kitchen. They have just about everything, including a advanced work-out equipment. It's laid out nice and it's in a convenient location from the highway. Some of the food is good, some is not good, but the specials have been pretty good. The staff was nice, but one of the nurses messed up my mom's meds.

I liked the feel of The Waters of Edina; it was open and sunny and had a very nice mixture of people. The staff was wonderful. They offered tons of activities to do, like different kinds of exercise classes, water aerobics in the saltwater pool, and outings to shows and grocery stores twice a week. They had big, beautiful rooms. I can look out the bedroom window where I'm moving into and can see the gorgeous Colonial Church of Edina and a pond. There's a very lovely shopping center nearby called 50th & France.

My sister liked the setup very much at The Waters of Edina. They have spiritual, physical, and all sorts of different supports for her. The apartments were 100 years old, so they are very nice. The staff services and the appearance of the place were quite good. It is very well done.

The Waters is our choice because it is brand new and my mom moved in on the second or third week after it opened. It is near my house so it is convenient for me. Although it is very expensive, she can afford it and it is a beautiful facility. The staff is unbelievable. They are so helpful and speak very good English. They have nurses (CNAs) on staff in the building 24-hours a day. So, she gets medications deliver to her twice a day because she has some dementia and can't remember when to take them. I can get hold of the staff any time that I want to. They have three Cordon Bleu trained chefs that work in the dining room and the food is magnificent. Her apartment is 1450 square feet. We are very happy with them.
