I toured Copperfield Hill. It was really dirty, it's old it's run down and not taken care of well at all. It was disappointing. Just from the kitchens, everything has paint chipping off the wall, all the floorboards and baseboards are rotted out. It was atrocious. I met two people, they were very nice. The person who walked me through the facility was phenomenal, she was one of the nicest people I met in my life and the other person was the same. They were great. One worked there for ten years, and the other worked there for six years. They're cheap to get in, but they're so cheap to get in because they haven't put any money into the facility, so it looks the way it looks. They don't even have cable. She said they had a lake in the back and they do activities. They had a 1-bedroom and there's a room with two people together that's considered a 1-bedroom plus. So they had to have a roommate. They had an elevator, the elevator floor was wood, it was not even carpet.

I visited Copperfield Hill in Robbinsdale assisted living. It's pretty good, but a little more active than what my mother could do. The staff was nice, helpful, and gave good information. The rooms are more like a roommate situation. You have your own bedroom, but you share the rest of the apartment. I saw their dining room, too. It looked like a normal dining room with lots of tables. Their upkeep and maintenance were good. The place was clean and nice. It seemed like a family-oriented community. There are a lot of good things like they were taking people shopping (those who are more mobile). I also remember them making flowers for the dining room tables. The staff is pretty nice and seem to know the clients by name.

Copperfield Hill is a kind of community where there are a lot of stores and shopping nearby. There's a lake approximately one block from the building, so there are places to walk. It's a pretty safe environment. My mom's room is small, but it's clean. She lives in a companion suite where there's two of them in that space. They have their own rooms separately, but they share a community kitchen and a community bathroom within that space. The dining area is also clean and organized. There's a lot of room to navigate between tables for those who are using a walker or wheelchair. Each table has a number assigned. The food looks appetizing, balanced, fresh, and adequate. Right outside of the cafeteria, there's an area where they can go out to just sit and enjoy the sun or just get fresh air. Each wing of the assisted living unit has skywalks and in each of those skywalks was an adequate room where you could sit down and visit with family friends They have air conditioning, minimum workout equipment, a bike that you can ride in one of the lounges, an activity room, singing activities, bingo, and walking activities where she has participated. The staff is what makes that place special. Everybody's been professional, courteous, and kind.

There are a lot of good things about Copperfield Hill. What I liked the best was, that the neighborhood that it's in has access to an outside lake and trees in the neighborhood. I also liked all the things that it offered, and the variety of care levels it offered. There's nothing that I would think they need to improve. It's just a very large community. There are a lot of people that live there, so that was a little overwhelming at first. I also went and visited during the morning, which is a busy time. Otherwise, it's quiet. The tour was professional and I learned a lot of information. The woman that gave me the tour was very knowledgeable, on task, on time, answered all the questions and gave a lot of information. They had a plethora of things. It's close to family members, and it's near hospitals, shopping, banking, and entertainment.

We've chosen Copperfield Hill Senior Living for my mother. The independent and assisted are all in one facility. We chose this place because of the helpfulness of the staff and the flexibility that she needs. It's an interesting design concept, the atrium. It's conveniently located to a little downtown of Robbinsdale. The rooms are very nice. The administration is flexible. The staff is excellent, including the marketing agent. Their menu looks fine, and the dining area looks fine.

In reviewing the facility my first thoughts were "Wow"! Amazing, luxurious, so accommodating! Unfortunately experience does not match expectation. My father is dying and my mother not in good health. His health is quickly declining so stepped up services for health ckecks. Nightly responses to a button around his neck. We are up to a 5% nightly response time. the staff doesn't show up when he falls and my aging mother has to struggle to get him up or he lies on the floor all night. One night response person finally showed up saying she was the only staff on duty. Almost $6k a month for "extra services" . Who's making money here while lack of response could lead to a parent's death?

My parent needs consistency, but you won't find that at Copperfield Hill. They never have enough staff. They can't seem to keep their employees, which speaks volumes about their management. Boxed lunches and dinners are handed out often because they don't have enough staff to maintain the dinning hall. My Dad liked the receptionist they had, he got use to her, and spoke of her fondly, but she left, and now he feels a little lost. Its been a disappointing experience so far.

Copperfield Hill seems to be OK so far. The staff seems very pleasant and helpful. My father's room is not large, but it was clean when he moved in. They have a whole program of different activities. They also have a library, a puzzle room, and a media room.

These photos are not accurate of the Assisted Living community. These photos represent the independent living community, which offers "some" assisted living services... but should your loved one need to use state resources and need a higher level of care there is an adjacent building that looks nothing like this... the care staff are very nice but are understaffed and this creates in consistency in care.

Everything was fine at Copperfield Hill. They are in a good location, handy to shopping and restaurants and easy to find, easy to get to. The rooms were smaller than I was looking for, but they would work.

I picked Copperfield Assisted Living for my husband. It's close by and looks nice; my daughter and I like it. The room is fine, like a little apartment with a kitchenette. There are two rooms for two men who will be in separate rooms but share a bath. He's moving there soon.

I loved Copperfield. I was very impressed, and it's where I want to go; it was in my budget, too. It's comfortable, and everybody seemed to have a nice time.

Copperfield Hill was very friendly and clean, and everything was really nice and good. The only thing that bothers me was when we were eating, I don’t know if something was wrong with the pans from the fryers as it smelled like they needed to have their fryers cleaned. Otherwise, it was fine. They had things go on for them all the time, and they would take them to different places. There was a room that was like open in the afternoon; it looked like a little bar, and you could bring in a beer. They could play cards in the afternoon, bring bands in, and a whole calendar of different things. If you are a Veteran, they would pay for the move and pick you up; I thought that was very nice.

We visited Copperfield and liked it. The problem that my mom has is she has to use a walker. She liked the facility, but she has a bad back; I explained to her also that and they have longer halls. She really liked it except the carpeting. If I am of that age, I would like to go there.

Copperfield Hill is adequate, but I wish it had a bigger lobby. Mom is staying there, and we’re happy with it. She seemed to like it, and she liked the food. Her 2-bedroom, 2-bath looked nice, and she’s comfortable there.

My mom has been in Copperfield Hill for a month. It seems like a friendly and clean place. They have a variety of things for the residents to do and stay busy.

I love Copperfield Hill. It was very, very nice and under the category of affordable senior living. I liked that each unit had a special, walk-in bathtub. The community was very nice in terms of cleanliness and activities for the older seniors that live there. I would have enjoyed that very much if I were to move there.

We liked the amenities at Copperfield Hill and the way things operated, but we felt it was not the right fit for our family. The staff was really helpful, showed us everything, answered all of our questions, and gave us all the information that we needed to know. The rooms were really nice. It was one of the places where you can have everything you possibly need for someone to have a comfortable stay. They showed us a calendar of all the different things that they do, all of the places they go, and the on-site activities, which were all very nice. It was actually fancier than what we were looking for. It had everything we wanted, but it was just a little bit too costly.

We thought Copperfield Hills would have been a lovely place for my mom. We were really impressed with the facility. They did have plenty of activities and social spaces in the building. They had a whole array of activities as well as tours and trips out to restaurants. They did have games and movie nights in the home itself, too.

All in all, I’m very satisfied with Copperfield Hill, which we chose for my mom. Their staff is very friendly, helpful, accommodating and offer a good, positive, welcoming environment. They are always keeping residents busy. There are a lot of good activities, wonderful food, and a great dining experience. The surrounding area is nice. It's a very family-based atmosphere.

We have my mother at Cooperfield Hill. The place is really nice. They have a memory care facility that has a lot of activities and stuff. You can come and go visiting at any time. It is suitable for us and actually, it is about four miles from our house, so it is really close. She is in a room that is just remodeled, so it is very nice. They have different things like bingo and bible studies. She seems to like the food, and they have plenty of it. A hospital, a park, a little shopping mall are close by, a couple of restaurants, and a post office. The people that give the assistance are nice and friendly. She gets along with them well, and she is satisfied with them.

My dad has been at Copperfield Hill for about a month now, and so far, it seems really good. They seemed to be meeting his needs OK. He has a little more space here than he had at the other facility, so that is nice. My dad has a little sitting room with a small kitchen. There is a single bedroom and a bathroom. They do have a lot of activities, although my father isn’t an activity kind of person. He is blind, and he uses a walker. He walks several miles a day. They have sort of a walkway that goes between the two buildings on his floor; it's kind of a skywalk, and he walks there multiple times a day so that works out well for him. There is also an outside that he is still learning his way around because he doesn’t see very well. He seems to be fine with people. He hasn’t said anything. I was able to eat there, and their food is good.

I found CopperField Hills Assisted Living to be very comfortable. I found the staff to be outstanding. Their program seemed to fit my lifestyle, and I was anxious to be moving there. The rooms were very clean and considerably larger than others that I had seen. They had good amenities there. I had a couple of friends there so I wouldn't be a stranger when I go there. They just seemed to know answers before I asked questions. They were very good. They had all sorts of activities. They had games, and they had metro mobile that came out and took you shopping when you wanted to go. They brought in speakers. I was on a special diet and the dietician was aware of that so I would be taken care of there. Visitors from my family could come anytime they wanted to. I actually had lunch there with a friend of mine, and the food was really good. The dining area had separate tables that seat four. There were a couple of tables that seat eight if you wanted to go to a community gathering. There was a beautiful fireplace in the dining room. They had a library, which was very nice for some of us. I just found it to be very nice and very clean. People went around all the time if you wanted to refresh you water or your coffee, which was great. They also had a cocktail hour, which was very nice.

I was looking for a place for a 92-year old friend. She moved to Copperfield Hill. I really think that the facility is excellent. She's very pleased with the staff's work ethics. They have a variety of activities.

I was pretty impressed with my experience at this facility. When I was given a tour, I had one person come meet with me personally and walk me throughout the entire facility, show me everything about the facility, and answered any questions I had. The food and dining experience they offered there seemed really tasteful and worth the money they paid for it. On top of that, they had a large variety of activities and activity rooms offered to the people who stayed there. The customers seemed very interested in everything they were offering and seemed to take advantage of all the activities provided. As far as the staff, everyone I met there seemed very friendly and none of them seemed as if they were bored or uninterested in being there for work.
