Everybody at The Preserve of Roseville was very friendly. We got the impression that it was well cared for, not knowing for sure about the staffing ratio because we never got that far. The place was quite nice and well kept. The marketing director was very, very nice and very helpful. We were just looking at studios because my father was going to have to need to go into elderly waiver eventually when he doesn't have a lot of money. When that ran out, he was going to have to go into that and so many places require sometimes two years to live someplace before you can go onto elderly waiver and he never would have had enough money for that. My father would have gone into a studio and then seen how long that money would last before he would be able to move on into an elderly waiver. The people at The Preserve were willing to work with that, so that was a good thing. The studios were nice and well kept. There's nothing wrong with them. They were a little bit smaller than most places, but not much. They had all kinds of activities going on, group exercises and social things that they had coming up, happy hours for the residents, and a movie theater. It's very new. It's only a couple of years old. They had a little bit of a hard time at first because they opened during or at Covid time. People were not moving into assisted living at the time, and of course, there had been staffing issues that everybody else had, but everybody that we met was very friendly. They just seemed to be very accommodating to get people to come and live there.

My sister recently moved into the Preserve of Roseville because I was no longer able to care for her or keep her safe in my home. The staff welcomed our family and made my sister feel at home and comfortable. She immediately pariticipated in the fitness class and programs offered. This is such a relief to know she does not need to cook, clean or worry about her personal needs or medications, it's all done for her. So far, we are pleased with how she is doing.

We have been very happy with The Preserve. The community has been amazing for my parents. They partake in daily events, love the food, rave about the front desk help, and are very responsive to our questions or concerns. The community is beautiful and we love the location (near to us and close by to parks!). It was bumpy at first, but they have improved so much. We are excited that new residents keep moving in (it gives our parents more people to meet!). The activities director, I forget her name, is absolutely wonderful and does a great job with fun events. Mom loves the onsite salon :-) and the fitness classes. There has been a lot of staff turnover, but it sounds like that's pretty common right now. I would highly recommend The Preserve to anyone looking.

Rooms are beautiful and the grounds beautiful. WONDERFUL residents A few great staff , although it is constantly rotating. If I could sum it up in just a few words, it seems as if they just don't truly care. There are lots of promises, but little follow through even when they could easily follow through, they just don't go that extra step or care. If you are independent living, this might be a great fit. If you need care, you are taking a gamble. It has the potential, but just not the follow through. Look at the fine details, look how clean things are BEYOND the front lobby.... Ask about staff retention, sure it was covid time, but there seems to be more than just that. How many nurses, directors, cooks/chefs , front desk, RA? it has just been a year they have been open and it has been more than bumpy ride , more like two wheels are missing on the car. If you can tolerate inconsistent cares and promises, this is your place! I certainly hope they can get it together because it COULD be great with a lot of hard work and effort . I certainly hope they do get it figured out as there are a lot of residents counting on them to do so!!

We have chosen The Preserve of Roseville. Everything here so far is just fine. It has been very good here. It is very adequate. It is working well. We are getting to know people, and the people are friendly. It is very good. I am independent. My wife is dependent, and we are in assisted living. We are in a 2-bedroom apartment. They also got a memory care unit here. The nice thing about this place is that as my wife's disease progresses, we won't have to move to a different facility. It is full care for all stages. They have a pretty full activity calendar. Being new and still in the process of moving, we have not taken advantage of all of them. There is a lot going on all the time. There is an exercise room. The only thing I have against them is that we weren't fully informed about the total cost as we were looking at the facility. The staff has been absolutely great. Because my wife is categorized as assisted, she gets three meals a day. As her co-resident, I get one meal a day; therefore, I do some cooking myself.
