We have chosen Bridgeport Place Assisted Living for my mother. She has not moved in yet. The staff is very friendly. They've been helpful and in pretty consistent communication with me with all the bumps we've been having. The facility is not incredibly large. The rooms are spacious. It's a lot more intimate of a setting. There are trees all around. It seems pretty low key, it's nice, and it was relatively affordable compared to the other places I looked at. The studio apartment is 457 square feet, and it's roomy. It's got enough room for a queen-sized bed, a couch, a chair, a couple of dressers, a table, and a TV. I looked at three different ones before choosing this one, and this was the largest of the studios. They got like a theater room, they have a library with a pool table in it, and board games, and they have a large dining area that has a high ceiling, which was nice and roomy. They have laundry onsite, a garden in the back, a nice little trail that you can walk on outside, and there's a little spa. The menu looked good, too.

Bridgeport Place Assisted Living was awesome. It's a beautiful place and we would love to have my father in there, but it's just a different kind of place for his needs. I would love to be there someday if I need to, though. Their one-bedroom apartment was very, very nice. There's plenty of room and it's very clean. There was actually a singer and a piano player when we visited, and it just looked like such a fun, upbeat place to be.

We looked at an apartment in the assisted living part of Bridgeport Place Assisted Living. That was probably one of the better facilities. I liked the size of it the most. It wasn't a huge, huge facility. There were, I think, 19 memory units there, and then 78 units altogether for the whole facility. It wasn't 200 or 300 people so it was very manageable. It seemed like the residents had a great rapport with the employees, they knew everybody by name, and you just weren't lost in a crowd.
The gal who's the director there, she's been in the industry quite a while so she has real in-depth knowledge of what they can offer. It was a good story she told about how they can fit into our lives or we fit into their lives.
The facility itself is nice but I'm coming from a 3,500 square foot house and I'm going to an apartment so all of the apartments in every place I've looked are all small to me. I'm getting the idea that's just how it is and that the apartments are pretty small. If you also want to get a 2-bedroom, they're hard to come by. Everybody wants a bigger place so when I looked yesterday, it was mainly a 1-bedroom unit. I guess I have to change my thinking, but they're all a small unit to me. We've been in a big house for 40 something years, you're not going to replace it, but I'm just getting used to the size of it. It's what I want versus what they have.
We didn't get an opportunity to try the food but it seemed like they had good food because they had people that worked in the restaurant area that have been there a long time. I think the head chef had been there 12 years so that's a great sign that the people have been there a long time, they're probably very good at what they do.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐We found the perfect place for our dad at Bridgeport Place assisted living. From meeting the Director of Sales and Marketing who took the time to explain everything to us and showed us around, to meeting the rest of the staff who were happy to meet us. The facility is clean, bright and cheery and very welcoming to everyone. Dad is in a studio apartment and it is perfect for him, we call it his new condo! Everyone should check out this wonderful community of folks when looking for a place for your loved one! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My father moved into Bridgeport Place Assisted Living, its a nice facility, and the seniors that lived there seemed to be pleased and well taken care of. The staff is good, his room is a studio with an alcove, and they have several activities for him if he chooses to engage. They have a library and media center with computers for them. They have buses, but their schedule never worked for us. It's very expensive.

Bridgeport Place is a very clean and extremely comfortable place. The staff is very welcoming. They have a game room, library, computers, and gardening. The dining area is fantastic and clean, and there's plenty of room to get around for walkers and wheelchairs. The services are great. My husband is not able to participate, but there are a lot of activities going on.

Bridgeport Place is very clean and the facilities are nice. They serve all three meals and they take my wife to her doctor's appointments. They also have a massage and exercise room, as well as individual rooms. The dining room is large. They have outings to go shopping once a week as well.

Our mother is a current resident of Bridgeport Place, since arriving in 2010. Folks, all I can tell you is how wonderful this place has been for her. She loves the food, the room, the care, and the friendliness of the people. Over the years, she has loved the weekly card games, daily exercise, pet visit, the bookmobile, and the special holiday programs. There is a lovely library on the third floor with a machine that enlarges typeface of books for easier reading. Everyone that works here is committed to making this the best assisted living around, and my sister and I are grateful that our mom has such a safe, loving place to call home.

The rooms in Bridgeport Place are very nice and set-up very well to accommodate seniors. The menu is varied, and many of the menus appeared home cooked as opposed to pre-cooked. They have a therapy room. They also have a person that does hair and provides massages. They also provide transportation to doctor's visits. They also do transportation for social activities as well as other needs. The place is clean and organized. I think it makes a good first impression, and when you go back, it still makes a good impression.

I liked Bridgeport Place, but I can’t afford it. It’s about three miles from us. The rooms were fairly large and nice. The food was good; we had a choice of two things. The staff seemed to be nice. They take you to doctors on Monday. Everybody was pleasant.

Mom has lived at Bridgeport Place for a little over two years now. The initial decision and move was not an easy decision as Mom wanted to stay in her home. While she still misses her home, she has met quite a few residents who have been very kind and caring. The staff also gets an A+ from us for being kind and very caring to the residents. Our stress level has also be cut way down by having Mom 2 miles away instead of 12 and by having help nearby if she should need it.
