My aunt moved in at Evergreen Court for about three weeks. Her bedroom is very spacious and nice, and there is a spacious bathroom. There are still things to be done in the apartment that they haven’t gotten to yet like a lock on the door. It was broken, and they haven’t fixed it. The staff is very nice.

I did visit Evergreen Court, and I like it, but the money was too much. The rooms were big enough. The people that I saw were fine and friendly. They told me that they provide three meals. They also have a community room where they get together and do things.

What I really like about Evergreen Court is they will take my three dogs. They serve three meals a day, and the problem with it is that it is in more of an industrial area. The rooms seemed to be spacious, clean, and they do well for the light housekeeping and linen service. I haven’t been all over, but when I walked down the hallway and into the rooms that I’m interested in, then I knew that they have really done a lot of work as far as getting the room ready. They don’t have balconies, but they have wide places to go through.

My husband and I visited Evergreen Court. It was a lovely facility. It was nicer and prettier, a better building, and a great lady took us on a tour. It had so much going on there. They had a library, a dining room, a lovely courtyard, and a big laundry room. There was a big meeting place as you walk in, or people would just sit around and chat. It was very well kept up and very cheerful. They have the usual activities, like bingo, but they take people out on picnics every week to concerts, shopping, field trips, and all kinds of stuff outside the facility. They have fun stuff to do, and then they have church services and pastors come in and hold Bible studies. The people were nice and the prices were reasonable.

Evergreen Court is a locally owned senior living community. They have 60 apartments in the community. They have an assisted living, which is less expensive than at the other communities I visited. I once visited a friend who lived there. It's a very good facility. It was well run, and the price was reasonable. My friend was happy living there.

The family is a caring group of people. They bring in a wide array of activities that stimulate the people living in the home. Patients living in these homes are typically alzheimers patients. The group running the home are typically Romainian descent and don't speak too much english when visitors are around although when you do communicate to them they are easy to understand. They throw awesome holiday parties and the residents quite enjoy them.
