My brother moved into Laurel Glen at Bremerton Senior Living. I was able to get an appointment, tour the facility, and get him enrolled. I didn't even need to look at other places. This had everything he needed. They have a lot of opportunities to enjoy the activities. He enjoys mealtimes very much. He recently started attending movie nights, and he's enjoying that. He's taken the bus and done tours where they're taking the residents for enrichment, and he's enjoying that. The staff is kind, and they've been very patient with him. They put him on medication management since he's been there. It was a little bumpy at first, but now he gets all his medications in the right doses at the right time, and he is significantly better. They've done a beautiful job renovating the facility. It's still not quite finished, but it's very, very nice and very homey. He is in one of the remodeled apartments. It looks very clean and very nice. They have a nice area to lounge and read a book on each of the floors, and they have two nursing stations. The only thing is the availability at the front desk isn't always there. If you need to talk to someone or get something done, often the front desk is empty. But lately, they've been trying to staff it better.

My father moved into Laurel Glen at Bremerton Senior Living. The nursing staff is good. There's a nurse there every day. My dad is new there and getting the medication switched over has been an ordeal. I like to see that made easier. Communication from the nurse to the aides also seemed to be at times an issue. Any time somebody moves into a new place like that, these are things that should've worked themselves out in a relatively short time. He's in a studio apartment, but there are different sizes of rooms there. They've got arts and crafts programs. They'll take the residents out on scenic drives and to their doctors' appointments. They have an exercise program and physical therapy there. They have a pretty good spectrum of different activities that they offer to the residents. However, the residents that need the most care are up on one of the higher floors. I think it'd make more sense for them to be down on the lower floors in case of an emergency or anything like that. They have a good menu selection.

Laurel Glen at Bremerton Senior Living was very upfront with their costs, and the big plus is they actually take Medicare. Everything looks really good. They're doing a lot of construction/upgrades right now. They provide a lot of things. They even have a swimming pool and a nice courtyard. They were really friendly and did a really good job with the tour.

My mom has moved into Laurel Glen at Bremerton Senior Living, and she is liking it. I like the friendly staff. The facility is clean and accommodating. It feels good when I go in there. She's very comfortable, and it's a good setting for her that's meets her needs. She's in a studio apartment on the third floor. It's near the nurse's desk, and we even keep the door open because she's a fall risk. We don't have any problems with noise or any problems with any people coming in or out. My husband and I go in and visit with her, and it's very comfortable. Her room is a good size. There's a couple lounge chairs, a couple of pieces of furniture, and a bed with a pretty good sized TV. There are two big windows. The grounds are pretty, and it has nice trees around it in a quiet area. It's not a neighborhood, but it's not heavily congested. It's right near the water or an inlet. She gets the food brought to her. It's very good food. She's very happy with the food. She has been to a birthday party for the residents and enjoyed herself. They have movie day. They have other activities. The staff is very, very friendly and very nice. I really like them. I think it's reasonably priced.

I toured Laurel Glen at Bremerton Senior Living. We got a general overview of the place. They talked about how you can add on things if you need more care. We looked at their dining room, which is very nice. It was a nice establishment. We just saw one room because they just had a studio, and it was nice. It had a walk-in shower. I woke up having some questions this morning about walk-in showers because my dad's not too steady on his feet, so he would have to sit, and I didn't see anything there, but they looked fine, and the lady who toured us around was very nice. There was a stove so that you could cook in your apartment, and it had a nice view. I thought the community was really good. The entry was quite secure. The door was locked and so you had to press the buzzer to get in, which was nice and secure, and then we checked in. I thought the restaurant was really good and also the activity room. There were some people playing games as we went in, and my dad was interested in that. There was a lot of variety, and they were also saying that they had music acts coming in like about once every one and a half weeks. My dad was pleased with that. They had a version of bingo and things like that.

Laurel Glen at Bremerton Senior Living was a comfortable and warm setting. I liked how they had a nursing staff and physical therapy. They were the kind people that were welcoming when we first arrived. I didn't try the food, but I looked at the menu, and it looked great. The facility looked very well-taken care of and clean.

Laurel Glen at Bremerton Senior Living seemed clean and such, but just a little bit older. I went there on very short notice, and the person who normally gives the tour wasn't there, but the woman who gave me the tour was very accommodating and pleasant. She showed me a studio apartment and a 1-bedroom. The thing that I noticed that was different from other facilities that I've been in, is that the floors were a nice high-grade vinyl instead of carpet. Which I prefer, because it's less of a trip hazard for my mother. It's a multi-story facility, and the different services like the community room, the dining hall, and the beauty salon were on different floors. It was more broken up than I think I prefer.

Laurel Glen at Bremerton Senior Living is an older facility, but it looks like it's well maintained and they're doing things to upgrade it. It looks like the people care about what they're doing. The nursing staff, the girl that I met with, they all seem to be very good with the people. The dining room looked clean and the rooms looked adequate.

It looked very nice and smelled nice. I liked the activities, and the way they described the food. They had games, library, and just your regular ordinary things. I like also the transportation three days a week, and they bring you to the mall or to Costco. The person during the tour was very nice. It's a very homey atmosphere, and I felt very comfortable.

I really liked it, and everybody seemed happy there. On the ground floor, they have a library, a gym, and people were gathering to go on a bus, probably to go shopping somewhere. The Alzheimer's unit had a very secure place where they could go outside and walk around, and each door had a box where they put personal items to identify who's in the room. I think it's a good idea. The staff seemed very nice, and the person at the desk knew the people as they came in. Another lady took us around.

My parents are in here, and it has been good so far. The staff is wonderful. The rooms are nice. They have just about anything they want to do for activities. The food is mediocre, so they should improve on the quality of the food. They have a two-room, one-bedroom apartment, and it's very adequate. The living room and kitchenette area is 15'x15', and the bedroom is also 15'x15'.

My mother-in-law is in here, and at the moment, they have what we need. There's been a few little hitches, and we're still working things out, but they're willing to work with it in their system. They have shopping day and bingo day and try to keep people active.

We toured and it was clean, nice, and smelled good. The staff that we talked to in person seemed nice. We looked at the facility one time just to see if Mother would be interested.

It was excellent. The person I talked to has kept up with me and follows up with me. They have been wonderful. The rooms and apartments were very nice, clean and they had a good view. The dining facility was very nice also. What I liked the most was they were very concern with the residents.

The one that I took my mother to is here, and I like it. She has been in there for about a month or so. The experience is very good. I am very pleased with it. I like the staff. She is in a studio apartment. It is a room and a bathroom, but it is kind of divided into kitchen, bedroom, and living room. They do have activities, but she doesn't part take of them that much. She eats, sleeps, and goes to the bathroom. I'd like for her to get into things more, but she doesn't tend to do that because she is almost 97 years old.

We moved our sister in. They have really nice people, and they also have a lot of activities. It is a good thing for her. The residents seem to be very happy. They have a sewing room and an exercise room. It is homey.
